I'll probably get shouted at but impressionists are SO eighties! We have much more mature and clever humour now so why do we have to listen to people doing impressions - so what if they can sound like someone else.

None of them are as good as Bobby Davro doing Zippy anyway! Mind you I was about ten when I found that funny and am 29 now which is probably why I don't find them all funny now...

I do so agree!

My main gripe with impressionists is that they seem only able to communicate by hiding their real selves behind another's persona. I am dreading watching the live streaming when John Culshaw is around because I think he will spend quite a bit of time doing this.

It really does become monotonous after a while.

That's true - I will have to turn over when he's interviewed - SO SO SO irritating!

At least Lesley's also-irritating habit of singing a high-pitched opera note mid-sentence has been curbed - was worried that I wouldn't be able to take it all...

In hindsight, (2007), he didn't like the privacy intrusion from the multitude of cameras in the house, so it's possibly a good thing for him to not have to endure. Having said that, I was gutted when he was voted off. The mainstream audience didn't know him at the time. Thankfully that's changed and he can now bring joy to us all on Saturday night primetime network TV

All hail to the ale!
