Playing to an audience, most of whom weren't born (including probably their flautist) when the Moody's were first around.

The guitar skills are still there, but the voices aren't quite, but quite nostalgic.

I grew up with the Moodies, and loved them. The classic seven albums from the Hayward/Lodge area still sound as good today. I was lucky enough to see them at their peak, and they were amazing. I saw them again three or four years ago, and it was a great show too.

However, they no longer have Mike Pinder or Ray Thomas, so we don't get their songs now, and that was a strength of the band, all five members contributed.

I especially love Pinders songs, so that is the main downside of the current band, although there are still enough classics to fill a show.
