School Reunion
TIGGER: School Reunion is a great episode, Sarah Jane comes back and she is my favourite companion after Donna!
Terminus
DAVROS: Nyssa's departure here is very well handled, and her conversation with the Doctor underlines that she is a different character to the one we first met. And to cap it off, the ongoing story with Turlough reaches a very interesting moment where we realise it's do-or-die time for him and the Doctor, which makes me want to watch the next story right away!
Destiny Of The Daleks
DAVROS: A good story not served well by strike action, and it shows. Beneath the modern, updated-for-dvd effects is a story that suffers from badly realised glam rock robots and Dalek props that were near the end of their useful life. The action with Davros and the Daleks does its best to keep the audience interested, but the quarry location for once is not so well used, and slightly obvious (not something I would ordinarily say, as lots of my favourite stories have them!) Least favourite of the stories.
Revelation Of The Daleks
GRAZE: I thought it was an okay clip, nothing special. Nothing was that exciting and Davros just wasn't interesting.
The Time Meddler
DAVROS: The cliffhanger is great! Also the Monk's glee is infectious and the mystery surrounding his true identity up to this point must have been great for 60s viewers
Amy's Choice
TIGGER: Extremely boring. It doesn't have a good storyline at all.
Midnight
GRAZE: One of my favourite clips of the night so far the tension was brilliant and it was the edge of the seat action everything about it the setting, the lighting made it perfect to creep you out. I think this could go through.
The Time Warrior
TIGGER: I really like it! A fab storyline!
The Greatest Show In The Galaxy
CALLUM: The clip starts off very eerie and mysterious before moving onto something more light hearted and comical. The family are also extremely mysterious and strange and leave questions with the viewers. The whole setting and camera works really well even though the clowns outfits are awful.
The Day Of The Doctor
CALLUM: A moving and shocking clip with two of the most well liked and famous doctors. Even though the setting and story in this clip aren't major, this scene works fantastically well!
The Brain of Morbius
GRAZE: Looks very intriguing and an interesting villain and it sounds like a good premise for the overall story.
The Tomb Of The Cybermen
CALLUM: A sensational clip from a sensational story, the music is eerie and chilling and this goes hand in hand with the movement of the cybermen. Such a fantastic scene.
I love Army of Ghosts and Doomsday much better that the War Games. I thought the War Games was okay for 4 episodes, 5 at a push, but then it felt too long. I mean, 10 episodes! Your having a laugh aren't you?
