Who do you think will win each award?

My Predictions:

Best Single Episode: Lucy's Death Aftermath (EE)
Best Dramatic Performance: David Neilson (Corrie)
Best Comedy Performance: Simon Gregson (Corrie)
Best Young Performance: Alex Bain (Corrie)
Spectacular Scene of the Year: Hollyoaks Blast (Hollyoaks)

Sexiest Female - Michelle Keegan (Corrie)
Sexiest Male - Danny Dyed (EE) or Danny Mac (Hollyoaks)
Best Villain - Dominic Power (Emmerdale) or Anna Passey (Hollyoaks)
Best Actress - Julie (Corrie)
Best Actor - Danny Dyer (EE)
Best Soap - EE or Corrie (or maybe even Hollyoaks)

Spectacular scene should go to EE for the Johnny scene imo, I think episode should go to EE for Lucy and best actor/actress to Jeremy Sheffield and Nikki Sanderson

I hope tonight's BAFTA isn't an early sign that we'll have another case of the EastEnders cast turning up for an awards show for no reason whatsoever.

The only one I'm really bothered about is Johnny's coming out scene winning Spectacular Scene. It represented everything that is great about soaps. Other than that I'm not too bothered as awards shows rarely award the right people.

I doubt it, Bafta was just having one of those years were it awards things that normally get overlooked (and usually rightly so.)

(Edit: I was talking about all the awards tonight, not just the Continuing Drama, I just realised you were not. )

Bafta is only based on 1 episode. EE won last year and Corrie went on to win at the soap awards and EE went home empty handed pretty much. Really hope EE wins best soap next week.

Before the nominations came out I thought it would be even between EastEnders and Corrie, but EE went for some interesting choices which will help them.

Sexiest Male - Danny Dyer (EE)
Sexiest Female - Michelle Keegan (CS)
Villain of the year - Anna Pasey (HO) - Hollyoaks will win something in the public vote, this is the most likely one
Best Actor - Danny Dyer (EE) - The one with the biggest fanbase.
Best Actress - Julie Hesmondhalgh (CS) - EE and Hollyoaks votes are split, which will help Julie.
Best Soap - EastEnders

Best Single Episode - Lucy's death - the aftermath (EE) - Nothing can beat it imo
Best Dramatic Performance - Lindsey Coulson (EE)
Best Comedy Performance - Laura Norton (ED) - Easy way to give Emmerdale another win, but I don't think she deserves it.
Best Young Performance - Mimi Keene (EE) - Eden Taylor-Draper should have been nominated, and would have won easily.
Spectacular Scene of the Year - The Woolpack flood and siege (ED) - Toss up between this and Johnny coming out.Can see them leaning towards Emmerdale, as it's what usual wins this and they deserve something for that week.
Best On-Screen Partnership - David Neilson and Julie Hesmondhalgh (CS) - Nailed on.
Best Newcomber - Maddy Hill (EE) - Best out of a bad bunch, not that Maddie is bad, she just hasn't done much.
Best Storyline - Hayley's Cancer (CS)

EastEnders - 7
Coronation Street - 4
Emmerdale - 2
Hollyoaks - 1

I'd love Johnny coming out to win spectacular scene; it was pure drama and will hopefully show you don't need big production disasters to make a good scene just a good storyline and acting.

Danny Mac is a given for sexiest male, Julie and David will win best actress and actor. Anna Passey will get the villian award (hopefully) maybe something for the HO rape story?

Hopefully Jacqueline
Haha, I'm not a fan of Jac Jossa to be honest but I also don't see any girl as sexy since I am one, but I think Georgia May Foote will start winning as she will get Michelle's votes
