Loool at anyone thinking Britney has more talent than Beyoncé. Must be trolling .

Agreed completely, she leaves me cold.

Beyonce does speak a lot of twaddle, I reckon. Most of her solo output is bland and generic as well.

Oh yes, Britney's such an amazing artist, incredible singer, amazing dancer, so much stage prescence, so much personality on stage, always sings live, always looks good on stage, is so creative with her music. Like hell she is!!!!! You may not like Beyonce's personality, but as far as talent goes, she has more talent in her little toe than Britney has ever had. Put them both together on stage and Beyonce would out sing her, out dance, out perform. Beynce would smash her out of the park.

Yes because that complex and deep song run the world needed 6 writers and 4 producers....

Don't know why whenever someone makes a negative comment about something Beyonce does people need to drag other artists. She isn't perfect and the OP had a point and a reason why I believe artist should keep quiet when asked to talk on certain issues as further down the line they will do something that will call into question past statements .

Beyoncea tina turner fan sings drunk in love with jays lyrics that point to her domestic abuse.

Writes the song nasty put some clothes on....13 years later joins the rest half naked.

Good entertainer but a bit dim at times.

I find that shocking.

The only lyrics are 'Who run the world...Girls' and it's horrifyingly bad. I wouldn't class it as proper music either.

All of your points above are pretty much irreleavent as at the end of the day, whether you like Beyonce's music or not or whether you like her as a person or not, at least she is able to perform her music live...something that Brtney could only dream of doing. Talent wise, Britney doesn't even come close to Beyonce. You might not like Beyonce as a person, you might not like her music, you might not like her personality...but when it comes down to singing and performing, which is what she is famous for, she blows Britney out of the water. People who claim to be "artists", yet can't even perform their own songs live do not deserve to be on the stage.

And exactly the same could be said for "Womanzier, womanzier, womanizer, oh womanizer, oh you're a womanzier, womanizer, oh womanizer oh, you're a womanizer baby". So I suppose you wouldn't class that as proper music either?

When I think of Beyonce I get that off feeling as if there's nothing there. She doesn't seem real. I know other pop stars are just a show but there just seems something off with her.

Not irreleavent. The OP wasn't talking about her musical talent but her moment of do as I say, say as I do. If anything your contribution to this thread talking about her performance and britney being a robot is irrelevant to the whole point of the post.

But keep deflecting

I take it you haven't bothered to read this thread then. Other people brought Britney into the discussion and started comparing her to Beyonce and then others responded, including myself. You might want to go back to page one and actually bother to read the thread.

I've read the thread, thank you for the concern. Continue to deflect and sound disagreeable.

So it's alright for someone to say 'Britney Sh*ts all over Beyonce', but when someone tries defending her they're 'deflecting and sounding disagreeable'?

Hmm, Interesting.

Beyoncé is so annoyingly and unrealistically perfect it's frankly sickening. everything with her is so planned staged and timed that any sense of spontaneity and fun has gone.

But as with Pretty Hurts it's easy to say hypocrite. But contextually in the music industry looking like Beyoncé sells and if you ain't willing as a woman to whore yourself a little your pretty much not having a career. What I would like to see from her is a little more realism. Change the industry from the inside if anyone has the power she has but instead she is willingly complicit in going along with industry rules to keep herself on top.

But Beyonce has had plenty of controversy in her career?

So what do you suggest she do?

Sometimes it seems that people would be happy if she had a mental break down or something so she could be more 'relateable' and 'interesting'.

It's sad. She's a singer and performer. She does both things brilliantly, is that not enough?

Bet people were rubbing their hands with glee when the elevator footage leaked. But unfortunately for some she kept it classy and moved on from it.

Maybe she should start dancing sloppily so she's not 'perfect' anymore?

Britney was a beast. Britney in her prime was a better dancer Beyonce. However Beyonce is the better singer.

There's a fair amount of evidence that a female artist can be successful without 'whoring' herself but bearing in mind that this is an industry largely controlled by men that is going to be difficult. Beyonce is perhaps not like Joni Mitchell or Patti Smith or Kate Bush or even Madonna, all female artists who have shown some control over their careers.

Beyonce lives in a different music era where the biz has so much control over the market.

And because of her looks Beyonce is in a market with reality Tv stars with no visible talent whatsoever, a little context is worth considering here.

That's what I said more or less it is the industry at fault but she willingly plays along in order to have a successful career And yes it is possible to have both a career our own and keep your own control and dignity as evidenced by those you listed. But as she more or less does have a degree over her brand and career she is an artist that ahs the ability to practice what she preaches and still find success.

It's all well and good saying Pretty hurts when walking out in designer clothes, salon perfect haor and dripping in diamonds.

I lost all respect for Beyonce when I heard the lyrics to Drunk in Love (or more specifically Jay-Z's rap in it.) I don't know how someone can claim to be a feminist role model who talks about female empowerment, then be on a song with her husband where he raps the line ''I'm Ike Turner, turn up
Baby no I don't play, now eat the cake, Anna Mae
Said, "Eat the cake, Anna Mae!" while she smirks and mouths the words in the background.

I still think Blackout is her best though OK, Britney Jean was pants but on the whole Britney's albums are pretty good.”

Absolutely.
I do love Beyoncé, but Britney's albums are much more exiting for me, I've love every single one especially Blackout. With Beyoncé I love her voice and her more down tempo tracks, "4" is her ultimate album for me, her only lp I can listen to and enjoy from start to finish, I'm not so keen on her others aside from the singles.

Theres something very clinical about Beyonce that IMO is hard to warm to.
