Anyone got one of these? What do you think?

Yes, it's a great tablet and great value now it's back down to the £99.99 I paid for my one.

My only concerns are that apparently the ports like the power port are flimsey?

I've only used the micro-USB port for charging and it seems OK but power connectors are a very common failure point on lots of devices so it's best to treat them with care (just ordered a new DC jack socket for an old netbook earlier today).

Surely it's best to have an all in one device, i.e. a mobile though rather than a mobile and a tablet?

I can't make up my mind. It's either an expensive phone with big screen or keep my Nexus 4 and get a Tegra 7.

I prefer small screen phones over phablets as they are easy to carry and use for making calls, sending texts and light app usage with a tablet being better for web browsing and more demanding app usage such as watching video.

Isn't the Nexus 7 a better tablet?

Depends what you want. Tegra has HDMI,magnetic back and stylus over the Nexus.

Magnetic back? What's that for?!

Do you have the tablet yourself?

Also, with the Tegra, I presume if you have an SD card inserted, apps/games auto download to the card? Or do you have to move them?

Haven't had a need for an SD card so far,got plenty of apps and nowhere near full.

What do you think of the overall performance?

What case did you get for it?

Does the screen look bright and clear?

Thanks.

Absolutely flies along.
Haven't bought a case.
Screen is absolutely fine.

I've owned/tried several different tablets and this one is the best by far.HTH.

No case? Really? The screen isn't gorilla glass so it's at risk of being marked. I also heard the back can get easily scratched?

Hows web browsing and stuff? Do you use it most of the time?

Mine is going to replace my netbook for a web browser.

No scratches at all and Im not overly careful with it, maybe I should buy a case!
Web browsing flies.Probably use it 2 hours a day and I paid more than the 99 quid its at now.

Yeah mine will be £99 tomorrow.

Thanks for your advice. Would be good to know if apps auto install on the sd card if there's one present though.

How are games on it? Any idea on what the front camera is like as I've heard it's terrible?

Stop worrying!,its a bargain at 99 quid. But stop off at Asda and buy a hdmi to micro hdmi lead for 9 quid on the way home for mirroring on tv.

Nah, won't bother with that at the moment. Don't see the point?

I just read that since the KitKat update, you can no longer install games in to the sd card? Meaning an SD card with this tablet is now useless. Anyone confirm this is wrong?
