Is David Wicks being killed off?
There is no mention of David in any spoilers that I have seen after his and Carol's wedding day. I know we are meant to think he does another runner but what if there is more to it than that?
What if he dies / or is killed on his wedding day? In a way (if Michael French decides he is done with EE for good) I would prefer him dying than just the old predictable running away for the umpteenth time. I think he really loves Carol and would not run off on her again so what else can they do but kill him? Maybe he is the next victim of whoever killed Lucy.................. |

It's to soon in my opinion for it to be part of the Lucy storyline and/or to have another death on the square.

I hope not, he's one of the best characters in EE!

I hope not, i'd love a David Wicks return at some point. I also really hope he doesn't just run away, his character has made some real developments recently and it would be such a shame if all that just went to pot.

I am torn between being left thinking he might come back some day and wanting some kind of decent closure for him and Carol. |

He's the one with the connection to Pat so I would say that it is more likely that they kill Carol off as part of her cancer storyline than kill off David,

My bet is he'll be sent off to prison on remand for Lucy's killing, but be found not guilty opening up for his future return and for other suspects to be sought.

I'm pretty sure he'll be kept alive too good a character to die. Even if he does die it would not be part of the 'Lucy' storyline, the 'Les (or the killer) is a serial-killer' plot is just embellished fan fiction

I've mentioned the possibility on another two threads today. I suspect that when he "goes off in search of something blue" as the write up for his and Carols wedding day says, he has a nasty accident and Carol and Bianca suspect that he has done a runner.

He'll probably eat himself to death. Carol turn up at the reception to see him slumped over his cake and Morgan crying because grandad ate all the cake

I hope not! They'd be completely mad to kill off such a good character. I'd rather Carol died than David.

Unless it brings the original Wicksy back, killing David would be a bad thing. Probably neither will happen. More likely he'll feign heart trouble (or have indigestion) and do a runner from hospital.

It's a good job you wouldn't kick him out of bed for dropping crumbs.

I hear David is laying naked in bed covered in whipped cream...Are you on a diet Sorcha? And if you are would you be willing to break it for him?
