I thought this would be interesting.

I remember seeing Series 6 Episode 4 and Series 7 Episode 5, but the one that got me hooked was Series 8 Episode 2 - and I have been ever since!

I really do wish I'd started watching earlier - it's it't not the same catching up on a marathon of 7 series when - its much nicer when you see it at the time, because everyone is talking about it and you associate it with things... The run-up to each new series is SO exciting and you obviously don't get that when you rewatch a series - that's why I kinf of see Series 8 and 9 differently to the others ... Not cos they're Better series of the apprentice, but because I actually watched it at the time of airing.

The first episode I watched was Series 5, Episode 7 - I was talking to my friend on the phone, and he said that he had to go because he was going to watch The Apprentice, and suggested that I watch it as well. So I did, and I really enjoyed it. I watched all of the previous episodes from that series on iPlayer, but I didn't really get around to finishing it off.

When Junior Apprentice started, I watched the series straight through and really enjoyed it. Shortly after that, I tracked down Series 1 and watched that as well. Then I started Series 6 when that began, but as with Series 5, I was still a casual viewer and I didn't get around to watching the whole thing. From Series 7 onwards, I've watched the programme religiously, whilst also catching up on past series in order, and I've now seen all of them.

EDIT: I forgot to say, I also studied The Apprentice academically. I started sixth form in 2010, and I was doing media for A-level. We did a lot of work on the forms and conventions behind the production of The Apprentice, with particular emphasis on Series 6 which was broadcasting at the time. That probably increased my interest in it.

My mom had watched it since the first series but i didn't really know about it.
At the start of series 4 my mom watched the first episode and i ended up seeing what it was about.
I really enjoyed it and have been an avid viewer since.
It is one of my fave shows.

I can't pick a fave series i have enjoyed them all. My all time fave candidate has to be Tom , so glad he won.

Watched series 1 and 2 rather casually, think I may have missed an episode here and there. Started watching series 3 religiously and have watched every episode since.

I like to introduce friends who have never watched it to the programme, starting with Series 1.

Series 2, Episode 8. I loved it and watched the boardroom of Ep9, the whole of Ep10 and the final. I saw a few eps in Series 3 (I remember Ep4, Ep8 and the final), none of Series 4 and a few Series 5 eps (Err... Ep1, Ep10, Ep11 and the final I think)

Series 6 was where I really got hooked. After watching that and Series 7, I returned to watch all of the series and l loved it. I've watched every episode ever since!

You should go on it if there's a Series 11, Jack. You know every episode so well you'd know exactly how to avoid messing up!

Think it was the 2nd episode of Series 3, I was pretty young at the time but absolutely loved it and was hooked, and have watched it ever since (apart from Series 8 which I gave up about halfway through ) I think Series 3 will also be my favourite purely because it was the first I watched and the one that got me into TA in the first place.

I've gone even one further and started with the reason why the series was created in the first place (for most of you guys, this aired on BBC2 during week days early in the evening):

Series 4 episode 1, I watched on the off chance. I was hooked on that series, I have seen bits from beforehand and afterwards, but for me it was the best one there has been.

Series 4 is my favourite series too - shame you've not really watched it since though!

Series 3 Episode 1

'When you can break bricks with your bare hands, you believe in your head that you can do anything'

'This is no gameshow! there won't be some busty blonde outside waiting to hug you so you can sob into her bosoms! What there will be is a taxi waiting to take you to the station so you can clear off home!'

Back then he would allow the teams to see the house and 'settle in' before throwing them into the task

Name choosing time

'i've just thought of fortune! Between us all if we put our IQ's together we're worth a fortune and we're going onto fortune and we don't know what our fortune is!'

No one looks impressed with that idea!! In the end they go for stealth. The boys go for Sertus on Trey's suggestion

Jadine wants to be project manager and realises that life is 'not all biscuits and sandwiches'

Andy 'we work till we bleed' gets stitched up to be project manager and its quite clear he will be the first to get fired!

Sugar flies in on-board a helicopter to meet the teams.

Sugar switches the project managers so that Jadine runs the boys and Andy runs the girls

Sugar calls Trey up on his attempt to name the boys team after one of his old companies 'Your card is marked old son!' They change the name to Eclipse.

The first task is selling coffee in 'the upmarket London borough of Islington'

Jadine's team buy the wrong coffee.

Jadine and Trey clash and Jadine decides to split Trey and Simon up. Margaret isn't very impressed. 'You don't split a winning team up but for some reason Jadine's decided to do that'

Andy can clearly be seen making a complete botch job of running the girls team. He sends Gerry and Naomi out on the mobile van but they pick a terrible location. They can't get hold of Andy on the phone for a longtime, but they do eventually and inform him they've sold 11 cups in 2 hours.

Jadine is quite adamant there should be an eclipse shape on the top of every eclipse coffee.

Trey thinks Jadine's a '****ing idiot'

Andy calls Gerry and Naomi and tells them to pull the mobile van and to return to the main location so they can all sell from one location

'Andy! Nice, not outstanding in anyway, not really for the business world, shouldn't really be here'

Jadine secures a deal at an office. It's someones birthday

'It's your birthday and Eclipse has come to say hip hip hip hooray!'

Eclipse coffee!!!

Andy - 'If we lose, i have a clear strategy of how i'd like to go in, if we win i have a clear strategy of how i'd like to sit back and relax!'

Forget it Andy, you're a goner!

Andy's team lose Everyone knew it

Andy brings Gerry and Sophie back in with him blaming Gerry on location and Sophie on figures.

Gerry protests that 'i did sell 11 cups!' Sugar retorts '11! what do you want, a medal?! You should have sold 111 cups!'

Sophie acknowledges that 'the mistake i made was not realising that milk froths and increases in volume which a scientist should know i must admit'

Andy realises hes going so starts practically begging to be allowed to stay.

'i will fight, i will do my bit, i will give you 100%'

'I'm sorry Andy but you are fired!'

I was hooked after that

That's a nice summary of that episode

I am watching Series 3 at the moment - in my opinion it's a bit overrated... Many people would say it's the best, but for me it probably comes around the middle/bottom.

It was the first series i saw and i guess that's why i like it the most. i find in general people like what they saw first the most.

pjw1985, I felt that towards Series 8 for about a year (it was the first one I saw), because it was the only one I had seen at the time. After catching up on each series (twice ) the novelty has been lost, and it's my least favourite series.

Series 3 Episode 6. I was a 2nd year university student at the time; I can't quite remember exactly why I watched the episode, although I suspect my housemates and I had tired ourselves out from our 10th straight round of Wii Sports bowling and just decided to watch whatever happened to be on the telly at that time.

In any event, after witnessing the absolute disaster that was Paul's leadership in France, how could I not want to watch more episodes? Add that to the boardroom war between Adam and Katie the following episode, and the trampoline incident later in the series, and yeah, it was gonna be a long-term thing.
