And I'd begin with saying Its The Way You Make Me Feel. As a kid this was the one of their songs I didn't like too much, but since they got back together in 2012 and I gave it a listen it's became one of my favourite.

My other top ones are One For Sorrow, Tragedy, Better The Devil You Know and Stomp.

I want to choose them all! (I love them all and own all the singles ) but in the end I went for You'll Be Sorry, Deeper Shade of Blue and Love's Got a Hold on My Heart.

I was never a Steps fan but for some reason I loved Say You'll Be Mine (which IIRC was a double A-side with Better The Devil You Know).

Its The Way You Make Me Feel for me is their pinnacle. I had actually forgotten One For Sorrow but I think that still stands up as a decent one. Had to go for Chain Reaction and Tragedy and Deeper Shade of Blue as well

If you take away the covers how many options are left? One or two?

I went for Heartbeat - it was one of my 1st CDs I ever bought & I used to play it over and over!
If I had picked another, it would definitely have been 'Better Best Forgotten' - I loved this hit BUT I would've picked it for the amazing B-Side 'Why' (which should've been a single in itself!)

Was glad I could pick 5, if I could have picked another 2 they would have been One for Sorrow and Better best forgotten. I was never a big steps fan (S Club on the other hand I was a huge fan of) and these were their best songs for me.

Deeper Shade Of Blue is a cover. It was originally recorded by Tina Cousins in 1997.

I really loved steps as a teenager, but I just cannot bear to listen to them anymore. I picked Here & Now as it's probably the only song of thiers I still have a soft spot for.

Looks like One for Sorrow is a winner. I can imagine ABBA singing that one.
