Seriously she framed Sam for burning down Home Farm, then got Rachel sent away with Jay's baby and now she's pretending that she miscarried because of Megan.

This is all getting annoying now and it's unfair on the viewers that a character as unlikable as Charity is getting away with everything.

Charity's a Dingle (in blood anyway, she is of course now a Macey) and it's the law that the Dingles get away with everything so no, I don't think she'll ever get caught. I think she should though.

I truly believe she will get caught, I think the plot will thicken beforehand though. Her fall is going to be huge and right now it's building with the numbers of people she is hurting and the god like decisions she is making for others.

Charity is not unlikeable. She's Fabulous.

She didn't frame Sam. He framed himself. She got him off.

We can only hope.... in an ideal world she'll get the same retribution meted out to Cain and perhaps with her evil orange spawn getting some too.

Hope not, I find Charity highly entertaining and soaps need that sort of character to keep people watching whether they love them or love to hate them

Agreed.

She is truly vile (just like her daughter) and not even remotely likeable, even in a "love to hate" way.

The use of miscarriage as a form of entertainment is sick. The script writers and producers should be ashamed of themselves if they let her get away with this in order to 'entertain' the minority

There are many women out there who watch Emmerdale and have also suffered miscarriage - this really isn't the time to show how devious one cast member can be

Its worse than that though... she had an abortion and is passing it off as a miscarriage.
Ugh! repugnant woman.

I have always liked Charity well not as a person, but, I have always found her character entertaining in a 'gasp, shock, opened mouthed' kind of way as she is so extreme, relentless, ruthless and yet for me has remained a tiny bit likable probably due to the fact that she has a dry sense of humour too.

This baby SL for me is tasteless and I have felt uncomfortable watching this play out - its far too cruel to all concerned and then to pin the blame on someone else is unforgivable.

So I am hoping she does get caught out and that her downfall lasts for more than just one episode and is it too much to expect Debbie to apologise to Megan too?

BTW Re: Rachel and Archie - they seem to have been totally forgotten now, its as though they never existed!

It is a matter of time. Charity is going to be the next big superbitch out there and it is also the tradition of the ladies who lives at Home Farm.

I think Charity is going to get found out and because too many others know about her abortion.

Speak for yourself. I like watching Charity.

It would be nice though for the producers to keep making her evil and end up with a whodunnit at Christmas. (Similar to Cain's judgement day). Several villagers will have a motive:

Declan - Aborted his baby
Megan - Covered up the fire and blamed her for losing the baby
Robbie - Belitttling him at any opportunity
Sam - Framing him for Home Farm fire/losing Rachel
Jai - Splittting him from his son
Zak - Framing Sam
Cain - Framing Sam
Ali - Running Rachel out of town
Dan - Running Rachel out of town
Ruby - Running Rachel out of town
Jimmy - Bankrupting his business his family worked hard for
Rishi - Losing his investment/losing Archie
Georgia - No longer seeing her grandson
Debbie - Lying to her about the abortion/miscarriage

There are probably more that I have missed. To me, it looks like they are building a whodunnit type story for Christmas.

Yes, I agree with all that Lucy. She's crossed the line this time for me and I can't wait for her to get some sort of comeuppance, (but one that doesn't involve her having to leave the show).

Re BiB : Probably for the best.

No you wouldn't want her to leave the show I suppose but she *always* get away with stuff. I don't recall anytime when things haven't gone her way for more than half an episode.

I know. If she's not going to turn into a total irritant, we need a massive 'how the mighty are fallen' sl, where she loses everything and everyone and basically ends up in the gutter for a while. After a good while of this, they can then figure out a way for her to pick herself up and start rebuilding her empire.

BIB Ideally a way that doesn't involve her simply sidling up to some rich bloke, flashing her golden foofoo and becoming lady of the manor again.

I don't recall that Arch Bitch Kim tate had it her own way *all* the time and we loved her because she sometime lost out and fought her way back.

Good suggestions but what about Rachel returning to get her revenge on what Charity and Declan did to her. My money is on Debbie how low can her mother go

I really like the thought of a who dunnit storyline as well! I do think the murderer would be Debbie though - so sick of her Mother and the way she treats all children. I don't want Debbie to go down for it though!!

If Charity dies then it's a great reason for Zoe Tate to step back in for Noah!!!

I do want to add, although I think the abortion storyline is a bit too far (why didn't her and Jay accidently slip up when they had been married for a while, we know he has super sperm also after his one night stand with Rachel - ridiculous) I love Charity Dingle - she's fantastically evil!

I didn't mean for Charity to get killed off. Looking back at Cain, there didn't seem a way for him to redeem himself after hurting the Bartons, the Sharmas, and the Pollards. He needed to be taught a lesson before he pushed himself too far and was rejected by all villagers.

Charity needs to be found out soon and revert to scheming of a less malicious kind.

Charity, like Cain, is an icon. I cannot see her getting caught. I do have a suspicion though that she will set Declan up for everything regarding the fire, and probably become Queen of Home Farm and the Macey Empire, which has miraculously gone from teetering on the edge of bankruptcy to a fountain of wealth in the space of a few months.
