Loss of Radio on bbc i player on Smart tv

I have a Samsung smart tv and until recently BBC I Player-sound and vision worked perfectly.
Last few days the radio section of i-player has disappeared from the tv screen.
The tv replay part works perfectly but I am at a loss as to where the radio part has gone to.
Anyone else noticing this problem?

radio has been moved out of the standard iplayer app and is now in it's own iplayer radio app. i suspect this is why you now no longer have radio within your smarttv iplayer app.

Many thanks for reply chenks.
If you access i-player via the internet then the radio section is still combined with the vision section as normal!
Are you saying that it is only on smart tv's that this seperation has been done?
Who would actually create the bbc i player tv app?
Have you any sources re this seperating out of tv and radio on i-player?
Many thanks.

I have to admit that until I lost the radio iplayer on the smart tv I had no idea that in their infinite wisdom the BBC had seperated radio from vision!
What is confusing though is that the 'old' combined iplayer (radio and vision) is still available via a web browser.
Is this a temporary situation as I cannot see people voluntarily switching to the new seperate iplayer version all the time the superb 'combined one is around.
Reading some blogs on the new radio iplayer it would appear that it has not been well received by many listeners who consider it greately inferior to the 'old' version!
Why the BBC have taken the step of seperating the two when the iplayer in its old format was acknowledged to be the best in the world is totally mystifying.
Their arogance,as displayed in many decisions they take for the 'benefit' of viewers and listeners,is truly breathtaking!
