I really don't want them to get together. Johnny could do much, much better.

That's actually quite spooky

Them both being straight actors shouldn't make a difference if they are good at their job.

The only gay male Actor in EastEnders right now is Declan Bennett.

The only OPENLY gay male actor on the show is Declan, that doesn't mean there aren't others. Why does it even matter?

This is an extremely outdated, fairly offensive statement. Many on-screen couples with good chemistry probably haven't fancied each other in the slightest so why would there be a need for one or both of these actors to be gay in order to play it convincingly? Both Sam and Harry knew they were signing up to play gay characters so presumably neither of them have a problem with it. Their chemistry could be non-existent or it could be electric. We just don't know yet.

Anyway, back on topic. I'm fairly certain it will go either one way or the other in terms of Ben and Johnny. If possible, Ben seems even more dark and unsettling this time around; either Johnny will fall for him despite that or he'll be completely repulsed by the idea of getting with someone so unpredictable. I'm actually quite looking forward to seeing how it will play out.

This is true, but judging by the awkward scenes with Gianluca, I worry that they are good enough to pull it off.

The scenes with Gianluca were meant to be awkward, he was the first guy Johnny had ever slept with and he was nervous as a result. I felt he played it really convincingly.

It would be actual poetic justice if sweet Johnny of all people was the one to inadvertently finish off Philth.

I thought I'd made it up but have obviously channelled it from somewhere. Which one is it?

I hope to God that is not shown onscreen!

Yes of course vaslav! I'm not doing gender equations, was saying how they'll be lovers going against their family's wishes.

Back to the point, the first scene with them together, for example Ben being in the pub and Johnny serving, will definitely let us know whether it's a convo or a look across the pub. They may even meet in the Albert, don't really see Johnny anywhere else
