The only OPENLY gay male actor on the show is Declan, that doesn't mean there aren't others. Why does it even matter?

This is an extremely outdated, fairly offensive statement. Many on-screen couples with good chemistry probably haven't fancied each other in the slightest so why would there be a need for one or both of these actors to be gay in order to play it convincingly? Both Sam and Harry knew they were signing up to play gay characters so presumably neither of them have a problem with it. Their chemistry could be non-existent or it could be electric. We just don't know yet.
Anyway, back on topic. I'm fairly certain it will go either one way or the other in terms of Ben and Johnny. If possible, Ben seems even more dark and unsettling this time around; either Johnny will fall for him despite that or he'll be completely repulsed by the idea of getting with someone so unpredictable. I'm actually quite looking forward to seeing how it will play out.
