People who seem to have been over-shadowed or adversely affected by someone else, and it would have been nice to have seen them without that person.

1. Chanelle without Ziggy. She would probably always have been attention seeking and immature, but she had the seeds of a good housemate in her. She could be genuinely funny: quick witted, and with good timing. Ziggy seemed to throw her utterly off balance. I suspect she always knew, at some level, that he looked down on her; they both knew that a lot was at stake, which made the whole romance very grim viewing.

2. Karly without Freddie. Again, Karly should have been a really good housemate. She was lively, funny, friendly. A battle with Marcus would have been good fun if it had got underway and not gone too far. But anyone who crossed Freddie was just dead on here, and, it would seem, to a lot of the viewers. It was impossible to have any kind of positive discussion whatsoever about her: all you ever got was a torrent of abuse from Freddie fans.

3. Faye without Aaron or Jemma. It seemed to be Faye's destiny always to be seen in relation to someone else. Her relationsihp with Aaron was dissected to microscopic levels, and just as she seemed to be settling down to the house her jealous sister was sent in and half destroyed her. Faye and Maisey would have been a pleasant relationship to watch, I always think, with both of them untroubled of heart and out to have a nice time.

4. Arron without Conor. Arron could be a massive tit, eg when he was hiding Deana's possessions. But it always felt like showing off for Conor. Away from Conor, he could be unexpectedly kind and thoughtful.

I'd really like to have seen that house without Aaron , his massive passive-aggressive routine was detrimental to the whole house (and my viewing!)

Wish Maisy had lasted longer .

For me it would be anyone who had the backup of a family member or partner in the house, so Jack & Joe, Sam & Amanda, Lisa & Mario etc.

*sharp intake of breath* I want to keep Aisleyne. And I'm not sure that BB6 would be that much improved unless you took almost everyone out and just chose another house.

I would have liked to have seen Emma Greenwood from Big Brother 5 without Victor, I think she would have won the series had she not been ejected. At the time of Fight Night she was favourite to win!

And Lesley from Big Brother 6 in a different series, she was wasted in her series because of other females over-powering her, prime example, Makosi.

What, and cancel out the best series of BBUK there's been and the best housemate ever in Makosi as well as great characters like Derek, Kemal, Kinga and Science

My least favourite series. You can keep Makosi, Kinga and Science if you give up everyone else.

Noo, Makosi, Kemal and Derek are my three favourites I forgot Vanessa from my list too, she was great.

Why is it your least favourite? I watched it not expecting much but I ended up greatly enjoying it and even more so than 5 and 7 I get the nastiness thing, but it's not that nasty at all and nothing is as bad as the Shahbaz treatment in 7, Spitgate in 9 or Conor's treatment of Deana in 13.

Funny isn't it.
I agree with roughly 90% of things you write on this forum but I have to say BB6 is up there with BB5 as my favourite ever series

That Derek was a nasty piece of work. I'd love to have seen the BB6 house without him.

Gos without Cameron/Steph.
I think Gos was able to be a lad with Ray/Scott/Federico, but he gradually gravitated towards a more adult group with Cameron/Steph and ended up a bit too withdrawn and serious for my liking. It's more Cameron than Steph, because like Gos, when the time for fun was there Steph knew how to let loose and have some fun (she probably got more hammered than anyone).

Victor without Jason.
They could both get pretty would up when it came to the game but I think the difference between them was that Victor could actually separate personal feelings from the game (tactically nominating Dan/Vanessa while Jason was gleefully waiting for Marco and Nadia to be up). Victor was able to drop his guard down and have fun with the group but Jason didn't have the social skills for that and gradually brought Victor down as the weeks went by. Although in the end, Jason was smart just to sit back and allowed Victor to talk himself out of the house.

Karly without Lisa.
I wasn't really that impressed with Karly, I just think she was sour and liked a good moan. However, sitting with Lisa was probably not a good idea as it gave her too much time to observe and think when she could have been with much livelier housemates and not constantly venting.

BB11 without John James
I've never seen a housemate so in-control of a series and what made it worse is that he didn't even seem to enjoy it half the time. It was very draining to watch.

Louise without Jay
Initially she seemed very smart and switched on, but then it's like she wanted to jump on the 'showmance' bandwagon. I felt like she dulled her shine to be a good fit for Jay and became more and more clueless and simple.

Caroline without Conor or infact a solid group of Insiders
I thought she had the potential to be an interesting and unique character, but she seemed so desperate to be a part of the popular group. So she tried her best to be associated with people like Conor and mocked anyone who wasn't in the in-group. It was really quite a sad state of affairs to see that sort of attitude and sure enough she took the fall before the people she aspired to be like.

Caroline without Conor, she could have been such a brilliant HM without him there.

Ziggy without the emotional baggage that was Chanelle, who ruined his time in that house.

Shabbaz without any of the other HM's there.

Agree about BB7 without Pete, but Luke S still would have been a tool without Ashleigh.

I would have rathered Michelle without Stuart. She was a great housemate, which she showed in the bedsit week, but what ruined her was 'Aww Stu' 'Aww chicken Stu'. Ugh, Stuart really ruined her for me, she was fantastic in bed sit week and fantastic in UBB, but Stuart and her were awful.

Surely she ruined herself in that respect.

She was all over him like a rash.

She got on well with Lauren quite well in the first week until something happened (can't remember what) and then she nominated her almost every week

Ah, but he might have been a bit more amusing without the whole "fauxmance" angle weighing him down

I think Luke S took himself and his body image far too seriously to ever have been amusing...he came across (to me at least) as another pretty boy who was mirror obsessed.

Im trying to think of something funny about him in the house, maybe that fake magazine interview with those cringe worthy pictures, but that was playing on his massive vanity.

Tania from BB4 in a different series altogether because I think she was a great housemate bogged down by a crap series.

Makosi away from Anthony because if she hadn't have got with him in the jacuzzi she may have went on to win like she deserved. That seemed to be the moment the public turned on her. Anthony being the man in that situation went on to win of course.
