does anyone know what the bb6 house will look like? will it be the same as bb5 or different?

they usually use the same house for 2 years so I'd guess they'll redesign the house used for BB5....

I'm sure I read somewhere, [in one of the BB books] they will be using that house for a few more series. They then have to find somewhere else.

As most BB viewers know, they used the first house for BB1 and BB2 but then had to move location because the plot it was built on had to be returned to a nature reserve I think. The present house has been used for BB3, BB4 and BB5 and I assume it will be used for BB6 too. So far they've redesigned the house each time obviously radically for series 3 as it involved a house move but I don't think there's a two year use of one house and then they relocate, that would cost them far too much money anyway.

well i had heard the the house has to be relocated for this years bb not that im bothered im getting sick of the location its in the residents that surround it are always complaining about the noise it needs to be out in the middle of nowere and with alot of space for the evictions

Yeah. But a massive plot in the countryside, and bigger crowds.

im just trying to find the news article im sure it was on digi spy that said the house was going to be relocated mods can you help im sure it was not long after celeb bb if not then it was not long after bb5 ended

The residents moan about it, but they're going to be using the same house - in Shenley Road, Borehamwood.

It cost them half a million quid to build the current house, so I'd imagine they'll hold onto it for as long as they can really. It just means ensuring that all the crowds are off the premises by 11pm (which has meant pre-recording some of the shows in the past, eg - Stuart's eviction).

I've just checked through all articles on the DS:BB system back to before BB5 and have not found any article about this (going from the titles, I've not read through them all, there are thousands!), although, like you, I recall reading somewhere that the venue was going to change at some point - could it be we both read something on the forums suggesting this? I certainly recall reading that Endemol was relocating all it's studios to Bristol and the next BB house (when they move from Borehamwood) would be built there, and that the Panto house/studio set was a trial run for this. Whether that's true or not I couldn't say.

I also read somewhere that they were supposed to be moving to a different location for BB6. Surely there would have been some official press about this by now though, they can't put up a new house in five minutes. They must be sticking with the current house/location.

Just joining the "I read somewhere..." people for a minute, I read somewhere that the contract for the current house runs out in January 2006, so they'll have to relocate for BB7. I'm not sure where I saw this...perhaps even I dreamt it, but either way I hope they move...the Elstree house has had its day. Can't wait to see what they've come up with this year. A bigger garden and interior I hope...or perhaps it'll be a third smaller for the third year running.

Yeah iv'e found it in BB3 book. Quote 'They had to find a site they could use for 3 or 4 years. Because Big Brother is here to stay for the next few years.'

yep thats it what ever it was you read i did as well i can even remeber seeing plans of the new studios and a possible location were the house could be built(on the studio lot) hmm i have a feeling it was in a news paper not on digi spy but who knows i will keep looking anyway
