Who is everyone's favourite advisor? Nick, Karren or Margaret? And why?

Personally, I would have to say Karren. Out of the three, she seems to be the only one who actually takes a genuine interest in the progress of the candidates, and the feedback she gives is generally fair. I love Nick to bits, but I think more for his entertainment value than his actual observations as an advisor. I didn't dislike Margaret, but I never saw anything in particular to like about her either.

What does everyone else thinK?

I agree, Karen. She is just great. A very influential woman, and I agree with all you said about her.

I remember when I first started watching I really didn't like Nick. I thought he was cold, unpleasant and deliberately trying to sabotage candidates by pulling his unimpressed faces to anyone they dealt with. I like him now though.

I'd probably have to give the edge to Margaret because I enjoyed watching her trailing around the streets after these excitable candidates still managing to keep her regalness. Plus she managed to entertain just as much as an interviewer with her razor sharp comments. Whereas for a long time Karren made no impression, she was just 'the woman interviewer' to me.
But I like all 3 of them fairly equally now.

Now that's interesting, because personally I find Margaret's comments the least memorable out of the three of them. I certainly don't find them especially 'razor-sharp', although I appreciate that that is just a matter of opinion.

I think Margaret had an advantage as an interviewer as people were excited to see her again so anything she did would have likely been lauded upon no matter how small. Even if it's just the raising of one eyebrow or a certain stern look on her face. But I think she's my fave because I've always found her little quirks funny as opposed to the other two.

I hate her as an interviewer, to be honest. I think that the interviewers should have some sort of substance to them, but it seems as though all she does is read strange things in people's applications and raise her eyebrows at them. Of course that could just be the edit, but I'd like to see her actually speak to them about something that is relevant to the interview process.

If I was a candidate and she said anything about my personal life that was in there, I'd say, 'As opposed to appearing annually on a reality television programme to raise one's eyebrows and read witty comments for the entertainment of the viewing public, despite being a fully qualified lawyer and having a PhD in papyrology, supposedly.'
