I honestly can't remember what's happened to Ronnie

Because actors can only appear in a limited amount of episodes or the actors may have been on holiday.

Carol explained why Dot wasnt there, not sure about Ronnie, Roxy was there though.

With much of the Square at the funeral, Ronnie was taking the opportunity to go through people's properties, baby hunting.....

There's no reason why Ronnie would be there unless I'm missing something

Is it important? Sometimes it isn't possible for all actors to be there and it's not like Ronnies presence was missed at all anyway.

They should have really made sure Dot was there though, she has always been close to Ian and Ian was at Nicks funeral even though he hated the man.

Sam Womack is filming Mount Pleasant atm & at a guess but most likely due to June Brown's age she has a reduced filming schedule , the funeral is a few days shoot on location can be tiring, Jessie Wallace is doing a play so that is why she wasn't there.

Lucys funeral was a bloody farce! Dot should have been there, I don't think Ronnie needed to be there but lets face it even friggin Ian and Jane bloody missed it. I personally was extremely disappointed with many parts of the episode.

More to the point why was Aunt Gina or Grandma Williams absent considering Gina dropped sindy off at the end tube station. That is a poor showing from the writers. Not even a phone call from 'chelle' or Martin whos missus is on the square. Nor was David Ian's half brother, chemo or not. Dot either -

Dot would have never missed the funeral as for Ian and Jane talking about their dirty shag and Ian pleading for the 'old times' instead of sitting through the whole service was very disappointing.

I think it has something to do with Samantha Womack's schedule, sorry if this has already been mentioned in a previous post

I remember Roxy walking out the church arm in arm with her bessie mate Christian talking about having a catch up

Yeah, she rather insensately wanted to go drinking with. Christian when they weren't even out of the church yet. Acting in her typical fashion in other words

I noticed Ronnie's absence given how crazily attached she usually is to Roxy.

Or busy turning her boxing gym into a children's nursery especially for the residents of the Square.

Which is taking up all her time in the construction of and building it.

Funny how all that baby stuff has been dropped and it is never to be mentioned, again - as the whole thing went down like a lead balloon, at the time.

Not surprised about Ronnie, but Dot should have been there. She is Ian's oldest friend on the Square (well her and Sharon)

Most likely it would have been too much for Dot, who just buried her "son".

I think Ronnie might have actually killed Lucy and used Charlie to move her body. That would be why Ronnie and Charlie were so friendly with each other. Ronnie is deranged. She bashed a guy's skull in with the trunk of a car.

Dot due to the pay struture of the show gets paid the most when she acts, Im guessing Woodyat/Ian is second best paid so why use Dot when you dont have too

I wonder if Dot was meant to be there but June Brown may have been feeling unwell & so they added a bit to Carols scene about how she persuaded Dot that it was too soon after Nick.

Someone said it might have been to do with the difficulty getting insurance for June Brown to do location scenes, as June Brown is 87.

Ronnie's absence was because Sam is filming Mount Pleasant. Strange that Roxy didn't mention her though. I would have thought a Danielle mention would have been put in to explain that she felt she couldn't attend.

I found it amusing that Roxy said that Christian should come and see "Mini-Me" because she looks so different.

As for why Ronnie should be there, you could say the same about Roxy, but Roxy was there nevertheless. Dot needed to b there.

Ian missing most of it is believable, given how torn up in grief he was, give the man a break, he broke down in front of the entire church.
