It would have been nice to have a last Gail and Tina Scene.

Tina's exit looks fantastic!! and hopefully will rejuvenate Corrie again! But I have to say Tina came in first with the Platts, and had huge drama with Gail, and so it would have been nice for her and her stepmom to have one last key scene. Hopefully, I think Gail will be involved with the repercussions of Tina's exit. But for now, I think there's a great week of classic corrie 9pm slot drama ahead!

It would be nice for them to acknowledge they're stepmother and stepdaughter which has long since been forgotten. I had to laugh when talking about leaving with Peter Tina said "i'm leaving people behind too" who exactly? The one problem i have with her death is the lack of impact it will have on the street. Who will actually care that she's dead? She's got no family her connection with the Platts has diminished, no friends. The only person who will remotely care is Rita but i'm sure she's soon get over it and will have ensnared herself a new 'surrogate daughter' soon enough who she can throw her money at.

I made this exact point last night. Tina has been a spare part for a long time now. When Michelle Keegan handed her notice in this time last year, Tina was just about to hit a brick wall: the surrogacy storyline was finishing and Chris Fountain would soon be sacked. Her friendship with Tyrone was maintained via her relationship with Tommy, her relationship with the Platts had more or less vanished and the only person she had a link with was Rita.

Tina could easily have been written out with little or no impact on the street. Her departure won't have any lasting consequences either, as the relationships that she's currently involved in are superficial at best. The affair with Peter was dreamed up to give Tina some connection to someone on the street. For the production team, this was too good an opportunity to miss as it also ensured plenty of screentime for Peter and Carla.

Yes. Who? Gail the stepmother she never bothers with? Or David me best mate? What about Ty? Has she bothered with him since he got with Fiz and Kirsty left?

Corrie have just let Tina run riot. She's stamped around the street alienating people, thrown drinks at customers and peed off Liz. She's Tina no-mates. They ruined Tina well before she started chucking herself at Peter.

She was always a bit arsey-faced but she could have been so much better than the humorless cow Corrie made her.

Liz is good but do Corrie actually have any fun women or are they just a group of arsey-faced, moaners, screechers, simpletons and nitwits?

I can imagine Gail perhaps feeling regretful/guilty that she didn't maintain more of a relationship with Tina.
