Just on Tina's first episode, what a great scene. I don't think many brand new characters really get placed alongside such strong characters these days. Imagine having a first scene alongside Betty and Gail? Marvellous.

I've heard an inside whisper that it is Rita that kills her but by accident.

Rita is celebrating the happy couples engagement in the Rovers with Norris, Mary and recently deceased Emily. After she's just polished off her 8th Vodka & tonic Sponger bursts in needing some cash. He asks Rita for her bank card but having none of it Rita heads off to the corner shop to use the much advertised cash machine. Unfortunately it's gone 10pm so Dev's is closed. She glances across the street to see her car sitting there and her keys in her handbag. 'Its only a few minutes around the corner' she says to herself as she jumps in the car to go to the nearest hole in the wall.

Just as she's passing the builders yard Tina comes tumbling into her path, Rita tries to avoid her but hits her head on as Tina's orange body come hurtling toward her car. She bounces off the bonnet and onto the road. 'Right Lady' Rita says as she reverses the car and has another run up at her. Blinded by the dayglo reflection from her skin Rita's car spins out of control and smashes into Fiz who's busy hammering on the door of Roy's Rolls as she attempts to annoy the hell out of him again.

Rita's car bursts into flames, Rita's a goner, Fiz is a goner and Tina is left fighting for her last breath.
