They didn't really. We knew Lucy would die but not how.

True. But we knew she was gonna die, roughly when, and how long the repercussions would go on for.

I really would've liked to have not known, personally...

Exactly. it's nice that some people can put their opinions of the show/The fact they've stopped watching and praise the show based on an episode they've seen and enjoyed.

Funny thing is as stated there's loads of people coming back to the show so what DTC is doing is working.”

I listen to Coronation Street writers who praise EastEnders episodes on Twitter, far more than miserable old farts on Digital Spy with their anti-EastEnders bias. These oxygen stealers should be avoided.

I doubt if they praise the majority of episodes

They have praised a few recently and it's not surprising as a lot of the writers know each other.

A lot of actors know each other in soaps and recently we've seen cross between a few. I can only think of one writer that has made the move between Corrie and EastEnders and that's Daran Little.

But they do get on far more than some people realise.

Sharon Marshall seems to be a big fan of Corrie but also writes for EastEnders

She has friends on Emmerdale too. Jonathan Harvey has written a few Corrie episodes in his time and watches EastEnders, some of the EastEnders production crew watch Corrie.

The TV world is incestuous lots of people know each other and meet up. In fact I know of a writer on Eastenders that is a friend of a writer on another soap. Slag off one person's scripts and the other will attack. They're that close.

Yep....I saw a tweet from Alex Lamb last night talking about Corrie.

Some of the cast from different soaps have praised other soaps.

Is Honey back for good? I hope so, she's very pretty to look at!

On David, I think his comeback has been a waste of time on the whole. Its a really leading people up the garden path thing for him to return, start making some roots business wise and family wise again only for him to leave again. But then again, DTC is a big fan of leading us up the garden path isn't he?!

Corrie could learn a thing or two from current EastEnders.

This and Michael's murder were brilliant!

I did have to do a double take at Honey. First I thought, oh who's the childminder has Honey been attacked or killed, then I realised it was her and my heart stopped for a moment with surprise. I suspect it won't be for long, I don't want her back full time. Didn't DTC axe her in the first place just like he did Poppy? (who Honey resembled more than ever on Tuesday)

The final scene was fantastic even though I sensed it was coming, it was so well put together.

Great all round scenes with the Beales/Butchers/Carters.

Keep the surprises a-coming, it's much more enjoyable not knowing every little detail in advance.

Also Harry Hill would love all this bin bag pushing.

Looking forward to the rest of t'week.
