Well first of all you don't decide who or what is posted.

Also, considering the vast majority of your posts are utter nonsense I'm sure the irony of your comments are not lost even on you.

Unfortunately I do have a habit of replying to those that post nonsense or try to mislead others, so I apologise if it appears I'm trolling you, I can assure you it is only coincidence.

Its been discovered. Its as they say, noteworthy but limited thus really not worth worrying about same as the apple bug. Any os will always have some vulnerability.

Also, why is it, when there is a flaw in android, you say it with such glee and happiness. Yet when something is found on iOS, you defend it, make up nonsense and disagree with anything to do with it? Just seems a bit strange.

Actually, I believe i used the wrong words. The correct word should have been smug. You come across overly smug when a fault or bug is found in Android, yet dumb down and argue against any fault or bug found in iOS.

Why is it that a big threat is found that affects everyone on iOS and its not important. Then you post an android bug that doesn't affect nearly as many?

Manually picking up malware is quite different to having your phone hijacked without error on your part.

However it turns out they cant hijack your iphone without error on your part.

This is the important bit. People who have been sucked into phishing scams are the ones affected because they've already given away their login details. It's quite different to malware.

It wouldn't hurt if the sites increased their security measures let's say with 2 step verification and encouraged/forced their customers to use it. Yes, it's an individual responsibility at the end, but it's also in the interest of those sites that it was not them where the attackers succeeded. Not everybody is computer savvy and can see through those scams. I think if they can get more than being told "You shouldn't have been so stupid." then they should get it.

Unfortunately, this is why I think education is absolutely key. We're raising a generation of kids who are pretty much able to use a computer whilst they're still in baby-grows, but they're not getting compulsory education on things like avoiding malware, other scams, thinking about what they post online and how it can affect their future...

That ransom malware is full of intrigue.

The message is in Russian demanding Ukranian currency. I/m not sure if it was targeted at Ukraine, Russia or both though Ukraine is the first spot.
And the ransom demand was said to be £13

Unfortunately you appear to have highlighted the very thing that some appear to want to achieve.

The iOS problem only effects those who have been unfortunate enough to have had their login details taken from another site, and use the same id/password on their iCloud account, and who have not used either single pass code or 2 stage authentication. So in fact it effects very few unlucky people.

The android bug appears to have the potential to impact far more users. However, both are worthy of being raised and appropriate advice is always worthwhile.
