I loved that Sharon and David scene and them two talking about Pat and Den...thats the EE AND SHARON I want to see more of......

Yes I liked their scenes . It's a shame David is leaving because I wanted to see more scenes of David and Sharon. I thought they had chemistry IMO but obviously they will never get together romantically.

Because Philth is due an almost two decade comeuppance, and as no man is ever allowed by TPTB to get the best of him the only candidate left is Sharon.
I would like to see her totally destroy him and upon realising it he dies of a massive heart attack (remember that heart problem writers)?
It was a nice scene, its the first I have had a glimpse of the old Sharon, I have never believed she would forgive the Dennis reveal so easily, she is up to something. It did look like they were showing a last Sharon & David scene though 
Sharon and David also reminisced about the past just before Sharon left in 1995. They've always been fond of each other but sadly nothing much has ever come of it. I wish they'd have had more scenes together this time around.

THIS ^ my thoughts exactly when I watched it... I think the way the writers and crew behave as if den never existed is utterly disgusting.
If David was staying, I honestly think he'd have been a good match with Sharon eventually. Oh well.

Dennis was Sharon's only true love. I knew she would never let Phil get away with it. There have been so many very small but subtle hints since the Dennis reveal that this was her plan.
Yes, Sharon clearly hasn't gotten over Dennis but if Phil/Shirley have an affair in future, that would make Sharon speed up her revenge plan! Dennis was Sharon's soulmate and her life was destroyed when he died. Dennis' death has completely changed Sharon as she became more bitter, miserable, bitchier, etc. If Dennis was still alive, Sharon wouldn't be acting like this and she would be happy with Dennis (and Denny).
