Bad writing & acting from most concerned tonight... My patience is running really thin.

Bad writing? I thought "Are we cool?" was a line for the ages. Right up there with "We'll always have Paris" and "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."

He reminds me so much of a man I know, who warns, "You knew what I was like when you got with me," to his girlfriend. He acts as if he has no self-control at all.

Loved the line about Peter's waistcoats in particular. Such a shame Rob will be on the way out now, after the writers finally figured out how to make his character consistent. I'm really sorry it was him.

Yeah, think the same. Posted something similar in the episode thread.

Sadly, it'll be Rob's eventual exit.

A character that they could afford to lose. He's not significant enough.

Carla they can't lose and Peter is only going as the actor is quitting (his choice, not TPTB).

So this will lead to Rob's final chapter - however long into the future it will be - but it will be.

Such a Shame just as he starts getting interesting (he always has been IMO, but he seems to get a lot of unnecessary criticism on here from what ive seen) and also as the writers just start to write well for him.

Rob won't necessarily be going anywhere.

Two words; Tracy Barlow. Two more: Stacey Branning.

If soap world can let two actual murderers get off, they can let a bit of manslaughter go.

True - hope so, hope Rob doesn't leave.

Add Janine Butcher to that list of Tracy and Stacey. Getting off a murder charge twice.

Though I suppose she got not guilty, unlike Tracy and Stacey, who the viewers know are guilty.

Plus what happened in Corrie was manslaughter at the absolute worst, but Rob will make it worse, in the meantime, messing with the evidence. Also Some people seem to think that Tony will finish Tina off.

So yeah, Rob could not be going anywhere - at least not for a while, in the immediate future which is all good. Quite like him and he's a lot more sympathetic than Peter ever is, TBH.

Peter should've said to Carla 'Do you feel lucky, punk? Do you?!'

Peter still trying to talk his way out of it. Assuring Carla that she hasn't done anything wrong. Really starting to like him.

I tell you what before this week I wouldn't have given Peter the time of day, but I'm starting to see what a standup bloke he really is.

I'm not going to lie to you, Carla .......................

Quality operator. If anyone is to blame here it's Tina and Carla and Leanne and his other wives. Hopefully, they will come round given time and apologise to him.

Least they could do. I find it quite disgusting how they've all driven him to drink lately, if they'd have just apologised this whole sorry mess could've been avoided.

Poor Peter. Carla has treated him shoddily these past few months. I mean giving him half the factory, just not on. What a nasty piece of work she is, hopefully Peter can recover from this soon.

Also being called a Jellyfish by the loose skirted Liz McD must really have hurt

Nothing like the biggest oldest slapper looking their nose down at you. And her snarling bulldog companion.

That Liz is a nasty piece of work. Peter is essentially an innocent sensitive bloke, as he mentioned tonight - he's put Carla's feelings before anyone elses this week.

Totally in agreement by the way - Peter rocks "the showing of his true colours" lol.”

Tbh his behaviour was exactly in character, just like his bigamy, totally unable to face up to reality and using drink or another addiction as a crutch
