She had no enemies who would have wanted her dead, and there was no death scene: one minute she was walking towards a rendezvous point with someone, and then in the last scene she is lying on the floor. Ridiculously anti-climactic. As one Twitter user said, it looked like Lucy had “gone for a kip under the stars”. We don't even know how she died. It would've been good to see a strangulation or bludgeoning or whatever, without showing the killer.
I think it could have worked if we had a Lucy-intensive few weeks, piecing together the secretive bits of her life, but at the end of 10 long months, nobody is going to care. A huge let-down. The only positive aspects to this is the acting from the Beale household, but other than that, I do not find the plot itself remotely interesting, and dragging it out for so long does nothing to help.
