If he had have shoved and pushed his way through so many people he would have got smacked a long time before he had his heart attack! I never realised Walford Tube station was so far away from the square!!!!

It was brilliant and atmospheric but I didn't think it was realistic, no matter how desperate David was to get to Carol he couldn't have kept running through crushing chest pain. However as I said it was such dam fine acting from both David and Carol I'm happy to overlook the medical inaccuracies

I loved the contrast of David frantically rushing through the Square to Carol, while she was silently sitting in the back of the bar with subtle facial expressions , showing how she felt. So much more planning and thought goes into each episode now. I was desperately willing Carol to see David, so she realised , for once he wasn't running out on her, quite the opposite.
