Anyone agree?

They could have done a few more teasers and spats amongst the obvious characters instead of showing scenes of Anna sulking in a hotel with a bemused Owen

The Anna/Owen scenes saved it I thought. Whoever wrote the dialogue between Peter and tina should be sacked
I liked rob though. He really was sinister

Same, they were the best part of the past few months IMO.
The rest of the episode was rather poor.

I agree with sorcha and sw, the Owen and Anna scenes the better points of the episode.

Owen's attack on the bin bag was more vicious and harrowing than Rob's "attack" on Tina.

I can understand how Anna feels but she needs to weigh things up

Can't stand watching pent up Anna shaking her wobbly jowls with her whole anguished martyr routine. She's so busy thinking about her own suffering from Phelan withdrawel to give a flying fart from her windass about Owen

Anna misses Pat Phelan. Can't blame her.

Just wish she'd get it out in the open.

I am so sick of Anna the martyr. Just how many times can she say, "I'm tired!"? I wish she'd just go to sleep already. Permanently.

They were great scenes, but felt out of place when there was so much to fit into the episode regarding Tina. I'd have loved for every scene to have focused on the Tina storyline so that we could see a bit more of a build-up as it felt rushed. A bit more of Peter and Carla as his admission felt rushed. A bit more of Tina's emotional reaction on her own in the flat before Rob arrived. It could've been a great episode but felt rushed.

I disagree with the OP I thought Debbie and Ian did brilliant, it was full of emotion and I'll admit that last scene with her crying nearly made me tear up myself

If anything i thought the episode was spoilt by there being no showdown between Carla and Tina.
I thought Rob was the best part of last night. I thought he was rubbish for a longtime but he's really growing on me now.

No, I was happy the Anna/Crybaby Owen scenes were included. Builds up nicely to the big reveal tonight, and quite frankly, the Peterina sl wasn't strong enough to carry the ep on its own.

If Owen throws Anna out, will she be able to lever that lump of a girl off the settee to take with her? Then Owen can replenish his fishpond.

Totally agree.

Anna's moping martyrdom has gone on far too long already and I think last night should have been about the fallout from the Peter/Tina affair, not about the boring fringe stories of Anna/Owen or Leanne/Kal.

I think that's why the main storyline seemed rushed in places.

She doesn't actually seem all that close to Owen. She has kept things bottled up for weeks now with absolutely no explanation.....Owen has repeatedly tried to sit down and talk to her but she's having none of it. It doesn't bode well at all for their future if she can't be open with the man she supposedly loves.

Anna has been annoying me for ages with her sulky face and saying im tired, the whole episode would have been better just focused on the Tina storyline, it felt messy and rushed. I thought Rob was very good, I,ve always liked him but he has got a lot better in the past few months.

Very poor episode after Monday's strong opener. The dialogue between Peter/Tina & Rob/Tina was appalling.

Anna is a sultry temptress and a saucy minx. We, therefore, need to make allowances for that as we don't want to lose someone of her appeal from Corrie. Looking forward to seeing Anna in highly emotional mood tonight.
