DS need to fire their Soaps team

What an absolute shame they felt the need to spoil Corrie on the homepage, without any consideration for catchup viewers. They didn't need to spoil anything in the headline or image, just call the article "Corrie: Tina's killer is revealed!".

Honestly what idiots.

To be fair, I'm a catch up viewer, and I knew to avoid any sites that might mention Corrie until the episode was available.

Once the ep airs it's not a spoiler, if you didn't want to know should have avoided coming onto here.

I didn't even come into the Soaps section. It was on the homepage as a lead article.

They said that once it's aired it's not considered a spoiler no more and they've apologised...

Nothing to complain about, the episode has now been aired and is no longer a spoiler

Might be a bluff. She could get up tomorrow and then get killed again.

Usually they don't mention the spoiler on the title though, so I do agree with the OP on that part. But yes, the episode has already aired so you can't complain too much.

I thought i was the only one, annoying DS fix up.
at least say 'killer revealed', all they want is view counts per article.
from now on im never going to their main site again.

Exactly. Spoiling is somebody revealing stuff after a press preview or from a magazine. Once it has aired on the official slot it is no longer a spoiler. Wattch catchup but you can't expect for the whole world to undertake a vow of silence until every repeat of the show has aired.

As others have said, if you don't want to know the 'result' when you know the game has aired, stay away from places you're likely to see or hear it reported on or discussed.

Look at it the other way, a aviewer knew it was happening tonight, missed the show and wants to know the answer before they are able see the episode on catch up.

The absolute horror, the soap team writing an article on an episode of soap that just aired! I am personally disgusted.

Dont be so bloody dramatic! You should have had the common sense to not come on a site like this in the first place

Quoted for truth.

If they'd printed it at 6pm fairenough but they didn't.

I don't even go on the main soaps site - I shortcut to the forum and only read articles if they are linked in here in a thread or I a expecting an announcement.

Oh I don't want to see who killed Tina spoiled for me.

So I know, I'll go on an entertainment site that will most likely tell me who did it!

Seriously it doesn't take a genius to know to avoid Digital Spy in circumstances like this.

I thought this was going to be about how another website seems to get all the exclusives these days.

I think everyone needs to calm down, when Breaking Bad ended I had to avoid the internet all day and I had no idea what was going to happen. With Corrie you knew Tina was going to get murdered because you clearly use this site often, yet you still came on DS knowing you hadn't seen said episode.
