It really seems to be dragging along. This is the last series i may watch, having done so since series 2, which was fantastic. I've got better things to be doing, like scratching my bum.

The show is the same every time, we have a load of singers, a load of bad acts, and the odd half decent act!

That as well as the adverts, makes BGT an uncomfortable watch!. At the same time i would say the show is pulling in enough viewers for it to continue, its not in a dire situation, i just think they need to rejig it abit and make some changes.

This series has been awful, so it's no surprise really.

I watched the whole show on delay. It only took me half an hour to see the lot. (act intro, act, comments). That means there was over an hour's worth of adverts and flannel.

I don't know why I actually do watch it. I didn't watch the audition shows (was away when they started)... I should have left it that way.

This show has been airing for close to a decade now, that's a lot of people who have auditioned, the producers are scooping from the same bucket year in year out so it is logical that the pool of 'talent' is running dry. Just about everyone who can or wants to has already auditioned or been on. We cannot expect to have an inexhaustive supply of brand new, fresh 'talent' on tap - if this show continues i will have to include non-British 'talent' to get the number of acts.

That said, the show now seems to be a vehicle for every dancing school in the nation to aim for. The dance groups are boring, all the same and those noisy, screechy kiddie dance groups make my blood run cold.

Looks like the ratings jumped back up for Wednesday and remained fairly consistent for Thursday, where's the thread for that? lol

Admittedly I don't watch it properly anymore, I just have it on in the background while I'm doing other stuff. Though I think it's still achieving what it wanted - being a harmless entertainment show that the whole family can watch. The results are just an after-thought nowadays.
