Reality TV is the best TV genre, soaps/dramas are just really boring and can get depressing, sports are overrated, documentaries are sometimes really uninteresting and uninspiring and there are no other interesting types of programmes other than reality TV.

Doesn't really lead to a meaningful discussion does it!? Opinions vary, but surely everyone is entitled to one without either their opinion or them being likened to that.

I love BGT, but this is nonsense. Reality TV is not the only interesting genre.
As I say, I enjoy BGT, but I prefer to mix up my viewing. Watching a variety of drama, reality, comedy, soap, children's TV and even though I'm not a big fan of them, I still occasionally watch sports, documentary's and news.
Your entitled to your opinion, but it's much better to watch a mixture of shows from a variety of genres rather than stick to reality ones.

Oh please just get a grip, I would rather watch a reality TV show rather than a depressing drama/soap, think about Abdication Street, I'm baffled that 9million people are even watching it, mainly because of it's current murder storyline, seriously, who in the name of god would want to watch a storyline about DEATH, come on what a morbid and depressing topic, at least there aren't any deaths on reality TV shows, and those soaps such as Abdication Street and Deadenders are well past their sell-by dates and aren't even as good.

How can you say that reality TV shows are fake, you don't even know how they are produced, I somehow don't believe they are fake, if they were fake they would never even be allowed to be aired on TV, if you think they are fake, you need to ask someone who actually works for a reality TV programme, I know many people who work for programs such as The X Factor, BGT and even Big Brother and they all say that it isn't fake, they tell me that everything you see is real and it's not fixed/manipulated in any way and that what people say about them being manipulated/contrived/fixed/fake is just plain Bullshite.

You know many people involved in these shows ????? Yeah right.
I have watched BB since it began and i love it but i know it is heavily manipulated, i have seen it happen many times. You could watch the live feed and then on the highlights they would twist it to suit a story. It happens a lot.
BGT and X Factor are manipulated as well. Only the other day on BGT someone posted a youtube vid on here that shows Simon in a white shirt when he was really in a black shirt. It was footage from a totally different audition edited into someone else's audition. That is manipulating the viewers.
Let's not forget the other shows. TOWIE, fake, MIC, fake, Geordie Shore, fake.
Every 'Reality' type of programme actually is made to manipulate the viewer. If they did not and we saw what actually happens, there would not be any programme to be made for many reasons including legal ones.
