I'm sure it must bring up many traumatic memories for you, Matthew. After all you were hiding under the bed where Anna and Phelan were getting jiggy with it . You peeping Tom .

I think a lot of people have had a sense of humour by-pass. I found that exchange absolutely hilarious - and highly believable. Liz was struggling to come up with the right word (just as you would be if it was real life and youweren't just regurgitating a script). Peter, us and everyone in the room were waiting to see what she'd come out with and he was baffled by 'jellyfish', looked quizzically at her and replied 'Thanks'. I thought it was brilliant, actually. Some of the lines last night were excellent - the always funny Steve is especially so the more heightened the tension. THIS is what Corrie does so well.

I thought it was funny too, the more so because it was unexpected. Liz came out with a word you'd never have thought was going to emerge, but it was right - Peter is spineless and it summed him up well. The 'so we're cool' was deliberately lame I thought, with Peter once again trying to weasel his way out of situations and not face up to the consequences properly. He does that often, and lapses into self-pity too.

Hahaha.

Yeah really wished I was in bed with them lol (as if!!?) with Anna's loud sex noises whilst getting Phelan'ed and then taking my turn blowing the trumpet - it was a case of just really having to be there. Totally jealous lol.

I've got a lot of respect for Peter after this week. Previously I thought he was an impotent spineless weasel but his choice of language has been absolutely phenomenal.”

Finally you realise he's a legend.
