Not really, it's hardly a high fall, Jason fell and recovered just as fast a few years back

All over a few hair dyers - can you imagine it "it wasn't my fault guv'nor, it was all down to the hairdryers!!!"

It was all the hair dryers fault.”

Haaaa.
I want to see those hair dryers behind bars. I want them to pay for what they have done. After they've blown up Liz first of course.
Sonic Boom in the Rovers. Or after Tinas funeral, a shot of the street slowly pans out to a slow, mournful version of the themetune. Joined by a tiny "crack", as a single tile shoots off the roof of the Rovers and a tiny puff of smoke... Liz's death scene.

Lol quite - couldn't have put it better myself, Becky.

Welcome to the threads, by the way.

After they've blown up Liz first of course lol...or better still, Michelle...good plot line.

Yeahhh those hair dryers need to pay for their crimes - they need to be behind bars and nothing less will suffice than that, lol.

Rob has saved this storyline for me. Tina had a brilliant exit scene, and he makes a fantastic villain. It was really lacking this extra dimension - now all the months of Tracy and Tina bickering have paid off. I like the drama of it, and letting the audience in on the identity was a great idea (though it has been done before). I like how many characters are affected too (Steve being involved is the icing on the cake).

Well done Corrie - after the huge squib of the affair, it's all come good. I can see why they decided to kill her off now, as it's a great story.

The only criticism I'd make is that Rob is surely no killer. That's twice now in quick succession that two men with no history of violence (Karl and Rob) have murdered.

Don't forget that John Stape jumped from the roof of Weatherfield General and survived so I guess it's 'dramatic licence'.
Despite some dodgy writing this week's episodes have been very enjoyable.

It was average at best. It didn't help with the poor writing and that we were already told nearly every detail of it beforehand.

Good post. Agreed. Corrie, for me, always feels a little underwhelming when it comes to these types of stories.

Not quite. Rob was in prison for beating someone to a pulp.

But it's true that in this case, he was all set to call an ambulance for her until she started gobbing off and threatening to accuse him of attempted murder, and then I think he just panicked and did the deed.

Rob was originally meant to have been in prison for armed robbery. And he did 10 years.

Just noticed how similar the episode was the Richard killing Maxine. Several scenes were almost copies of it.

Nothing exactly to write home about. The writing was inconsistent, but the acting's been good.

Alison King is in a league of her own. Really impressed with Marc Baylis the last few weeks too.
