I mean no disrespect but three French guys dancing in heels is that really what people want to see - obviously as the public voted them second tonight!! I don't get it.

The talent was dire tonight but seriously out of the other acts - them!!!

I don't think Britain can have much talent. In the final we already have a Canadian magician and now some French heel dancers. The dancing granny has ditched Britain for Spain so Lets call it immigrants have got talent and be done with it.

I'm watching this year but that's it I think.

Same thing happened for me with IACGMOOH and X-Factor.

I want it to continue but i just wish it was taken a bit more seriously. Some really stupid acts have been put through to these semi's this year.

You can't axe something if it is too successful, BGT is possibly the most popular talent show in the UK, it's a SUCCESS, NOT a FLOP, axing a successful programme is just like murder. Please just stop moaning and try your best to enjoy this fun, feel-good, light-hearted piece of entertainment, if anything was to be axed, it would be any of those depressing soaps, they're not even popular anymore, so I think that it would be silly for ITV to get rid of their most popular TV show.

I'm watching it on fast forward, as I could not face watching it live.

It really is utter cack. It's not that I'm anti BGT, not in the slightest as I believe proper new talent deserves a showcase. However the talent on show is at best average.

Sorry I cant. I don't understand how three men dancing in heels is entertainment. There were better acts than them on the show, all who deserved a place in the final.

Plus they are not even British. Oh his middle name is Richard. he cant even say it properly he is that british!!

I have had it. I don't care who wins, I switched off the X Factor last year after religiously watching it for years and will now do the same with this. its a total farce

New producers badly needed.
Golden Buzzer wasn't good enough the level of acceptable past first audition needs to be raised greatly. Until they find an act as good as Diversity they need to scale back on the street dancers.

Walliams will take the hit if Ratings carry on falling but the quality of the talent this year isn't strong enough.

The public do sometimes throw a spanner in the works and tonight was no exception. And i'd say that Cartel likely only got that many votes as an "up yours" to Cowell.

It's the only logical explanation as to why they got more votes than Reaformed tonight.

Seeing as they were advertising tonight for people to audition next year, it seems unlikely!

The public voted them second because the talent was poor tonight. Doesn't seem to have been an even split across the semi finals. Tomorrows looks better.

The gold buzzer was wasted. Walliams was an idiot for gold buzzing that dancer to the final. I couldn't believe how stupid he was for doing that. Lucy Kay was fantastic tonight. Her voice is so pin sharp flawless. Unbelievable. I must have missed her performance in the audition.

It is, but just maybe its a bit tired. The best thing for BGT would be to give it a year off imo. It might give the talent pool a bit of recuperation time. Ofcourse ITV wouldn't allow that, but I think it would come back stronger.

Change of format? Why not use the US format with a Bootcamp like stage & weekly live shows instead of all the lives done in a week?

Every year they just need ONE act that everyone is talking about, and usually its that act that wins. In recent years it has been Ashley & Pudsey and Attraction. They simply haven't got that this year.

There are a few good acts but none that are quite good enough to sustain interest in the show.

As opposed to the other judges for wasting their gold buzzer on people that already would have gone through?

Because the semi finals always fall during the half term holidays so the children taking part have no obligations with missing school etc...

LOL! That's funnier than any of the comedy acts I've seen on the show.

they need to take a break for a couple of years, and then come back.

so the tiny handful of disgruntled DS forum members want the show to take a break as opposed to the millions and millions of people who tune in every night each year ?

hhmmm .. i wonder who ITV would listen to ?

yeah I think you are probably right, unless they retitle it The Worlds Got Talent

And what's ironic is that those DS forum members are also guilty of tuning into the show every night each year... even though they claim it's 'awful'.

I must say this year has been crap. The audition shows were dull and I think they have put a load of crap acts through to the semis. Too many dancers and singers for a start. I may not bother next year, it is still a ratings winner though so they are unlikely to scrap it altogether.

They should do these type of shows every 2-4 years rather than a series every year in my opinion. Would keep it fresher. A fair amount of people seem to still watch but I imagine many are getting bored.
