What do you think he would do in the following?

Character: I know you killed Tina
Rob: What you talking about?
Character: That night. I saw you, push her and then go on to murder her. You are sick.
Rob: (What would he say next??)

They've completely ruined his character.

He was always a bad'un but this past couple of weeks he was beginning to redeem himself- caring for Carla, acting as a voice of reason against Tracey's dodgy schemes. He had no reason to kill Tina the second time. The first time, when he thought she was dead, could feesibly have been an accident. Pushing her in self defence was totally different to smashing her head in with some lead piping. I liked the moral ambiguity the first scenario presented- was it murder, manslaughter or misadventure on Tina's part? They've taken a hammer (pardon the pun) to all of the nuance in the story and now it's out and out murder. Rob will forever be a deliberate murder and any progression his character could have had has been forgotten.

Really, really lazy writing.
