Most Improved Soap Actor and Actress?
pingu58011

So which actress and which actor do you think have improved the most during their time on the show?

I only watch Hollyoaks so for me it would be Nikki Sanderson (Maxine) and Danny Mac (Dodger).

Danny Mac (Dodger Savage HO)

Matt Di Angelo (Dean Wicks EE) from how he was when he first was in EE to now, his acting has improved a lot imo.

Liam Bergin.

He has improved dramatically since disappearing off the face of the earth.

Where did he disappear from?

Nikki Sanderson has improved massively, better than the girl who played her sister.
Matt Di Angelo improved quite a bit as well.
Dannielle Harold has improved hugely IMO

I remember when Anna Passey first joined Oaks she used to really annoy me because she used to have a really high pitch to her voice and end sentences with a stupid inflection.

Since around last September she's really improved and is probably my favourite actress in the show now

Nikki Sanderson has improved immeasurably from Candice to Maxine. I'd love to see her bring that maturity back to Corrie.

I also think Danny Dyer has been improving with every one of his appearances since last December.

Lizzie Roper when she first was on screen on hollyoaks she would really over act but now I think she's really good and is one of my favorite Lomax's.

Didn't rate Nikki Sanderson in Corrie but in Hollyoaks she is shining.

I think Marc Baylis has been excellent this week. I do think the issue with him in the past is that he hasn't been given storylines where he could really shine. So far, he's been great with the Tina storyline.

I agree, he has been brilliant this week. I also think that the actors playing Anna and Owen have improved.

Completely agree, he's always stood out (to me, at least) as a rather charismatic and capable actor, when all too often people without a juicy storyline are just 'there' he acts very well facially too, you can see when he thinks Tracy's nastiness is going too far etc. So now he's had something to get his teeth into, he's shone.

I think his accent is better too, at first he was a bit 'Liam Gallagher' in his pronunciations but now he sounds very natural, I think I detected a slight Dudley/Black Country twang when hearing him interviewed so his naturalised Manc accent is rather good now.

for content; since coming back from her exams or whatever, the actress who plays Faye isn't nearly as atrocious, she actually speaks like a real-life person now , whereas before she spoke in an odd monotone with weird inflections. She's not great, but improved vastly.

Nikki Sanderson, never rated her Candice in Corrie, think she's great as Maxine in Hollyoaks.

Another vote for the lovely Nikki Sanderson, could totally see other soaps trying to steal her away.

I think Hetti Bywater really showed improvement in the run up to her exit.

Another vote for Marc Baylis I,ve always liked him but he really has been excellent lately. Also Matt Di Angelo his acting is so much better than it was in his previous stint on EE.

She really suprised me during the eating disorder storyline. Never thought she was awful but never rated her acting much./ She did it a lot of justice. I could never stand Priya but my heart went out to her seeing her go through what she has.

She was the first name that popped into my head.

I was never fussed about Peter Beale but I think he has got a lot better especially the scenes at Lucys funeral.

Nike Sanderson is brilliant now, massive difference over the past year, also Marc Baylis from his first few Corrie episodes to now, he's like a different person.

I didn`t like Robbie from Emmerdale much when he first started. But I`m quite liking him these days.
Maybe it`s because Charity being so evil is making Robbie seem like a saint in comparison.
