CORRIE: Did the twist shock you?
Did you expect Rob to actually cold-bloodedly murder Tina tonight?
Personally I was very shocked by the twist tonight. I couldn't believe it, and it really sent the story up a few notches after last night's push/fall. Reminded me very much of Richard Hillman "you should've stayed at the party, Maxine" when Tina refused to just let it go. He even offered an ambulance! Vote in the poll.

If anything I thought someone else like Tony would finish her off, not Rob, and not like that. Brilliant, twisted, dark stuff.

No, when they told us there was going to be a twist it seemed a bit obvious she would have survived the fall. I thought someone else would have killed her but Rob was going to think he did it. I was disappointed that the person who 'pushed' her ended up being the real killer, I thought the real twist would be someone else was the killer.

Some people don't understand what a twist is, it's an unexpected development in a story, not an un-preferred outcome.

It definitely shocked me, but I don't see how she could of stood up and started mouthing off again after she fell from such a height.
It's a shame that there isn't a bigger twist, where she survives, as I liked her character. I feel so sorry for Carla now though, she said in the pub 'i'm going to kill her' twice, and Leanne walked past when Carla was stood on the factory roof. She also has a perfect motive, but I think her and Rob will frame Peter as I believe he is leaving anyway. |

Very shocked. The scene scared me something fierce which never happens. Loved Tina as a character. I'll definitely miss even if the producers messed her up towards the end. As for Rob I've never liked him and this made it worse for me.

So the twist did shock you then, if you thought someone else would finish the job?

I'm just saying, that a twist is an unexpected development that Rob intended to kill her in cold blood.
But thanks for the compliment ![]() |

I don't know how to explain it. Even though I thought someone else would have finished her off, when Rob did it I still wasn't shocked. I guess that's more to do with the un-preferred outcome, I would say it wasn't a good shock.
It could have been twisty-er if someone else did it I suppose! But still, I was more shocked that he did it in cold blood especially after all the interviews pointed at him feeling guilty /it being an accident. |

The question now is..will someone finish her off in hospital or is that too similar to Sunita and Karl?

Surely even the soap police will realise that the dent in her head isn't from the fall

Yeh because he looked so shocked and scared when she fell, so to go from that to cold blooded murderer was quite shocking. I've just started to warm to Rob, so I think I was a little bit sad that this could mean he leaves.

To be fair I think it was more shocking than somebody else murdering her afterwards which is almost becoming a soap cliché in itself - to have the same person finish off their own accidental victim is pretty much a masterstroke in this day and age.

![]() This is what I mean about the definition of "twist"! Someone else finishing them off's been done so many times. |

I guessed she would still be alive and she would be hit by a weapon but I was shocked that it was Rob.
