Why was Tina so determined to shop Rob and Tracy to the police?

I would have thought her sole priority would have been to tell Carla to get her revenge on Peter but she seemed determined to ensure Rob was going to end up behind bars, even after she fell from the balcony! Rob actually has previously been kind to her and was even caring towards her in the flat before she started threatening him -
I get Tina's issue with Tracy, but not Rob. Didn't make sense for her to be so angry at him

It was a contrived crap plot device so she could get done in by Rob, even though she never treated him like this before nor has he shown any signs of sociopathic behaviour. The writers haven't a clue.

True. I don't understand why she hated Rob, Tracy and Tony enough to become a little snitch.

TBH Tina has been acting out of character since the stupid TPTB. had her chasing after that washed up chain smoking alky

As she's got a big gob and can't keep it shut.

"I was born gobbehhhh"

"You'll die gobbehhhh!!!'

Just like I wrote earlier it was one of those lines that was very similar to;

"You should have stayed at the party, Maxine!!!" - which was more than 10 years ago, now.

Rob came round to Tina's place yesterday to rub it in that Peter didn't want to settle down with her. She probably wanted revenge against Rob for saying she had no chance with Peter because she's a barmaid renting a flat and Carla is a business woman with class and personality. That and also it would get her revenge on Tracy.

She was leaving. She hadn't any bones with Rob, but certainly with Tracy as she was a bitch to her and Peter for messing her around. Parting salvo, getting one back on your enemies. Wouldn't many people do this if they had chance.

Not to their face after they'd thrown me off a building!

Ha! Killed by her own motor mouth

Guess in the world of Tina Mac everything had gone to crap. Peter was the only thing she seemed to give a toss about. So she was pretty hysterical about all that, then Rob comes along and rubs salt in the wounds, belittling her for just being a barmaid and mocking her. I suppose Tina would want to ruin Peters life, and then show Rob exactly what a barmaid can do, even if she doesn't own a factory that makes thongs. You'd hardly expect 'Gob of the Cobbles 2014' to just take a verbal beating from Rob and let him get away with it. Plus, how many bitchy comments could she take from Tracy in the future without grassing her in to the police anyways? I think her wanting to shop Rob and Tracy would have been her way of getting the last laugh, thinking "I haven't got my man, so you're not getting away with anything either". Purely out of spite.

If only Tina had realised there was a place called Earth outside of Coronation Street she could have gone and lived a happy life

I have to agree and it was hardly a motive for stone cold murder.
OK she fell from the balcony, but when he attacked her with the pipe, that was totally out of character.

Brilliant acting with a poor script. Rob had just tried to kill Tina, so it was inconsistent wrting to have her goad him into finishing the job.

I am sure that they had different story lines planned for her.....her screen boyfriend got the sack & her personality was revamped.

Isn't it beyond credulity, to imagine that an injured Tina would spout such venom to a man - who, as she thought, had just tried to murder her ??

You would need to be very brave/stupid....it would have been much more clever to, 'play dead.'

Tracy & Rob are now evenly matched......they are both cold blooded murderers

He hadn't just tried to kill her, he was arguing with her a bit of tussling went on and she fell, the shock on his face when she fell off the balcony was because he did not intend her to fall, it was an accident, but then it turned to murder after she made threats by saying she would say he pushed her and tried to kill her, which was stupidly out of character, the writers ruined her character completely

Agreed. Although it was very dramatic and entertaining it was not believable

A lot of real life murders are committed by people you'd never have expected it from. Always the quiet ones

Tina had a feud with Tracy a few months ago. You may remember that she threw a rock through the windows of "Barlow's Buys"

Also, after she came on to Rob, and Tracy found out, he publicly humiliated Tina and made her look like a sad desperate loser
