In 28th of May's Mirror Marc was interviewed and admitted Rob was on borrowed time so yes I imagine he is leaving soon.

I don't think his character has been developed well enough for us to care about him suddenly - and irrationally owing to poor writing - murdering Tina in cold blood.

All felt a bit undercooked to me.
