Think he's proving his critic wrong, his acting has developed so much past few months and to all those who thought he was shocking must think again. However it will be a shame to see him go

Agreed, couldn't fault his performance at all tonight. The panic when he was trying to cover his tracks in the flat was brill

This is why i'm actually gutted Rob is the killer. Especially after tonight - out of all the suspects, including Tracy, I never thought it would be him. It seems so random for it to be him, and he really didn't have that much of a motive - maybe if he was getting married to somebody who would break up with him if he was arrested for pushing stolen goods, but his wife to be got out of prison for murder.
To be honest, it reminds me of them turning Karl into a psycho - the writers didn't know what to do with him so they turned him evil. Tonight's events were shocking, but mostly because I honestly don't think it is something Rob would do.

I thought he was really great. However, I've disagreed with past criticisms of him. I think he has always done well with the character, but the issue was moreso the character of Rob itself could be annoying. I think he has a very commanding on screen presence and I think the writers, up until now, have not given him storylines where he could really show that off.

I,ve always liked Rob this is why I was hoping it would be Tony that was the killer, I wouldnt have minded him leaving but not Rob, and as we all know Peter is also leaving..

I had just begun to warm to Rob, and I like the interaction with Carla ; will he be found out soon, or will the story go on for months?

He must be a good actor for I turned to really liking Rob to despising him last night and I didn't want to..............

He/the character have definitely improved. He seems to be getting more and more attractive too.

Good post. Agreed with this.

Though there is the danger through not knowing what to do with a character and not writing them properly - to them turn them into a murderer will then later inevitably limit their future development - if not give them a shelf-life in itself.

I've always thought he was a good actor even before now it's just i'm sad he's the murderer as I didn't want it to be him.
