But it would be much easier to just change the name. Eg call your thread 'Marianna Postlethwaite'. Avoids all inter-soap confusion.
They didn't think it though when they named the character Emma Barton.
I like the idea that shes under the barn that will get planing permission to be converted and then the floor dug up.

I don't think you made a confuddling thread. You put the name of the soap Emmerdale at the beginning of it which a lot of people don't - so many people put the names of the characters without the name of the soap - that's what I find confuddling particularly when there are characters with the same names in 2 or more soaps. If people got confused because they didn't read the name of the soap in the subject of this thread then really that's their fault.
