At 22 minutes excluding the commercials the episodes are just too short nowadays it seems. This has really been evident this week with episodes seemingly over before they've begun. I know it's technically impossible due to scheduling but the eps could do with being 45 minutes that way they would run to about 30 mins. Perhaps it is because we're used to double episodes most of the nights which gives us 40 mins on an average CS night without commercials.
The Street's been utterly fantastic drama this week on the whole though, sure there's been a few flaws but it's been really relentless, high-octane stuff and brilliantly acted. I just can't help but feel a 22 minute show is not enough right now. Oh well, on the other hand I'm chomping at the bit for the next episode more than ever right now!
