CS Doctors sharing medical information with strangers..

I know Tina doesn't have a family but please tell me this wouldn't happen in the real World?

It's scary stuff because the killer could be among them..

Surely Tina has some relative somewhere or a in law?

She still has a Mother, wonder why she isn't there?

Wouldn't there be a bobby guarding the room anyway, her being the victim of a serious assault and all?

Surprised they let Rita in after slapping her.

Someone in that state of mind might pull the plug!

She turns up on 11 June apparently - no idea why it takes her so long.

She does have a mother who should have been contacted and should be with her daughter right now.
Spoiler
Instead, she arrives on 11th June.
Ridiculous.

Of the people locally (let's assume her mother is away somewhere) Gail would be the closest legally and David would have a legitimate right to say he is family if asked as her step brother.

It is possible that Tina has specified a different next of kin / emergency contact to her mother on her medical records - perhaps during the surrogacy time. I believe you can do that legally

I like the way the patients have to lie in a room with a giant window for everybody to gawp through. Like gorillas in the zoo.

Does make it easier for the medical staff to monitor multiple patients at a time. No different to the old style open plan wards and I imagine there are blinds or curtains that can be drawn if privacy is required.

I know this wasn't in your post but I don't think many Doctors wear white coats these days - it is more usually smart dress or scrubs.

Yes, after all there had been little (or no?) contact between them since the death of Tina's father.

Well he wasn't very smart, he looked like he'd slept in his clothes. Albeit a lot of doctors do admittedly

Two weeks ago he was sat on the bench trying Tyrion Lannister for supposedly killing his nephew King Joffrey. No wonder he looked a bit rumpled...

But in real life it is usually a bit more discreet and they don't let half your neighbours in to come and watch.
That probably wasn't even a doctor in the white coat. It was most likely a painter and decorator who wandered in for a gawp.
