Corrie: 55th Anniversary Year Storyline - Killer Rob
NathanJohnson
29-05-2014
Rob should continue on into 2015. He then proceeds to murder Tracy Barlow on the 8th Anniversary of when she attacked Charlie Stubbs (which ties with their wedding celebrations). Rob is then arrested later on and locked up awaiting trial for Tina's murder when he confesses to the police, and is also charged for killing Tracy. He is sentenced to life in prison.

However later in the year in December (Corrie's 55th) Rob turns up in a cab. Carla is shocked to see him "Hey sis" says Rob "this is the best arrival in a thousand years". He then reveals that the detectives and forensic analysts working the scenes were actually dodgy, and the same cops are the ones who worked on the Tina murder case and also Tracy's.

Everyone forgives Rob and forgets he is a killer and he begins working at the factory as the new big boss.

Tracy can be redeemed - I felt she forced to - and Charlie was a dick. Her getting off - and I was happy for her! Tracy is like Janine and Ronnie (EE). Guys should leave them alone. Rob, I have little sympathy for - because unlike Charlie - Tina was a nice girl (although towards the end she was losing it). I base this on her journey in the show (not the SB Peter-Tina bit!)

I would be FURIOUS if Rob is let off!

No, no she cannot. Even without killing Charlie, she is a complete bitch to everyone for no reason. She drugged Roy, claimed he slept with her and had his baby, treated the Croppers like crap, tried to set Becky up for killing her twins. Yes Charlie was a dick, but Tracy was way worse than him. She wasn't forced into anything.

So somehow its acceptable for her to murder but no one else? What right do you choose to die?

LOL I like how you used Tracy's return line about "the best arrival in 1000 years"

I agree with all of this.
Tina was young, dumb, and I don't think she ever got over her dads death
