Katy Perry- Favourite Video

Inspired by another thread what is your favourite Katy Perry video.

For me E.T it is a visual feast for the eyes and for me the moment I knew she meant business. I like the simplicity but the overall stylistic impact and the way the other worldy feel of the song is transferred to screen. A truly stunning video.

Mentions to:

Unconditionally- Anna Karenina meets 21st Century a video worthy of Vogue simply beautiful

Thinking Of You- Great Storyline and again stylistically stunning.

Wide Awake- I love the way she incorporates the different elements of her previous works throughout even the Strawberry from OOTB

Last Friday Night- A retro extravaganza with inspired cameo's

The One That Got Away- Great story interesting elements and a great companion to the overall message of the song.

California Gurls- From the Girl that kissed the Girl to Superstar in one fell swoop Candyfornia indeed.

Last friday night
It's one of thoses where it is quite long but it has a story and is relevant to what the song is about. It's a bit silly, but it's not cringey and shows that Katy never takes herself too seriously and what a brill character she created.

Ooh yeah, i hit 14,000 posts with this
Thanks HM

'The One that got Away' is a lovely video IMO. Always makes me a bit sad TBH.

Your Welcome LM

Also for those that love Thinking Of You and TOTGA there are extended Directors Cuts videos of each which are very good too .

She's always one to rely on for great videos (Birthday aside maybe - favourite song but the video let it down in my eyes).

I love Wide Awake and Unconditionally the most I think. Special mention to Cali Gurls and Roar aswell. Thinking of You and The One That Got Away are great aswel..

Birthday isn't really a video I'm a fan of. And in fairness only Unconditionally has really wowed me this era.

Birthday video is perhaps her worst
It felt she was trying too hard to be funny and the humor was flat in places.

She should of brought back Kathy who has since become popular since the events of LFN and have her have a birthday party, along with a few celebrity cameos. Perhaps Rebecca black makes a cameo again when both their birthday parties happen to fall on the same day.

The One That Got Away is the first one that came to mind. The only one I'm not keen on is the video for Birthday.
