'Oh Ken it's like a lynch mob' Deirdre is a legend.

David steals the scene with 'knock some gallows up. Anyone got a washing line?' is it wrong that I've just watched quite a bit of that episode....

Deirdre is indeed a legend! One of my favourite Deirdre moments is when she wailed, "SHE COULD DIE!!!" at Tracey's bedside.

"That is a despicable thing to say!"

"Oh Ken, it's like a lynch mob"

Lol. Also at the end, Peter! I can't believe how much he's aged in 3 years.

I kept watching - amazing how much faster-paced it was then, compared to current episodes. And I do miss John Stape.

Thanks for that - classic Deirdre, and some excellent lines.

That was absolutely fabulous, thanks for that.

That clip has also hit me over the head with how good it was at that time. Sometimes I feel bad about how much I complain about it at the moment, but watching just a small clip of that justifys our thoughts on the current state of things, I think. It was much slicker, much more pulsating.

Back when Ken wasn't on a 'break'. Back when Tina was actually a good (alive) character. Back when Craig, Claire and John were still in it. Back when Nick and Peter didn't hate each other.

Those were the days.

Whatever the weather, though, the bulk of the Corrie characters are absolutely top notch.
