"We want to put Ireland on the map!"

Just caught up with the show, was that quote for real?

Pretty sure Ireland is already notable enough to be on the map

At least this dance group dance to proper music

The majority of dance acts dance to screechy nonsense that I would never call music

The last time I looked at a map Ireland was still there on it.

One thing I noticed last night was how much music by Skrillex was used in the backing tracks.
I think Simon has thought he should use that stuff so that he looks cool, current and relevant.

I do think that the stoppy starty music of the backing tracks where they chuck snippets of loads of songs into the mix has become a cliche in itself now. Since they started doing it a few years ago with Diversity and Flawless I think it's been overdone and has become predictable now.
You just know that the acts themselves haven't put together these mixes. Especially when they're a dance troupe of young girls, and the show has tried to make them look 'street'.

I thought the girls were great last night. They are a highly polished team and so hugely enthusiastic about what they are doing.

I did fully agree wtih Simon though, as excellent as they were, there was that element of looking at a fantastic backing group with the lead missing.

They do need a lead dancer to centre their performances around and it would improve ten fold.
