How long will the Soaps last
Do you think the Soaps will still be on our TV screens in 20+years. I think maybe Hollyoaks would be the first to go if any were cancelled.

Corrie lasted 50 odd years, was ties 30 and the dales 30-40! That's phenomenal for a show! Even Oaks with being almost twenty!!

I think they'll always be a market for soaps, just because people don't watch it live doesn't mean people aren't still watching it other ways. Plus it's a big money spinner not just for the tv channels but the media in general.
