Out of the current pop darlings, and new wave of female stars, who's your favourite?

Poll up soon of notable ones

Out of the older ones probably Madonna because i've liked her for years.

Out of the newer ones Katy Perry and Lady Gaga!

Britney Spears granted not as big as she once but still a pop phenomenon in my eyes.

Can't really think of anyone really big in pop right now to my taste.

Unless Rihanna counts as pop then would undoubtedly be her.

Britney. She's not the star that she used to be but for some reason I'm just drawn to her the most. She still intrigues me the most.

Beyonce, 17 years in the business and still performing and in some cases outperforming the newer faces of pop, but as an established artist she can make her albums focus on music for the fans rather than casual audiences.

I also like Katy Perry and Rihanna, and hopefully if they keep going the way they are they can bring out a more artistic record in the future. Rihanna did that with Rated R and so she is capable of it and Katy is slowly developing maturity into her records.

I know it's somewhat fashionable to moan about modern music but I really like the current set of female stars.

From the big league, Katy Perry and Lana Del Rey, for sure.

Beyonce easily. Katy Perry, Rihanna etc is just pop music by numbers...nothing special. Beyonce plays around with different beats, instruments and experiments with different sounds, whereas with the others it's just bubblegum pop by numbers. Beyonce can outsing and outperform the others too.

Kylie, by far, but Britney seems like a really nice (if a little fragile) woman

Britney.

I don't even like her music now and I'm not gonna pretend she isn't doped up to her eyeballs these days but when I was growing up she was everything.

Rihanna, I love her whole image, her songs are catchy and I love her personality in interviews, she seems so normal.

Ooh! I love Agnetha's solo stuff. Eyes of a Woman is one of my favourite albums. And Frida's Shine album is a blockbuster that never was!
