Hi all ,
Last weekend I adopted a cat and brought him home . I have already another cat who has lived with other cats before but sadly they passed away . For the last week we have kept them separate and been doing things like swapping toys and beds so they can get used to each others smells also this morning whilst new cat sneaked into a room and sat on the window sill cat who was here before jumped up on the other side and they just looked at each other and then looked away no hissing , no attacking the glass more of a look of who are you ?
Now being in the same room could be completely different and this is where I am nervous
Are there any good tips for the face to face meeting ?
Thanks

The cats have met and there has been some hissing and growling from the original cat while new cat just gives a look of just chill out lol
