She moving abroad because William's got some modelling work!

Hmm... I think that's a lame s/l even for Billy.

Personally, I find this very underwhelming, I was hoping Billy's news was going to be something shocking & exciting..

From what happens with the passports I guess Billy will be looking after Janet for a while..may be an excuse for Peter to leave Lola's

Are we going to have another Cindy/kids moment and Philth gets the kids back?? Is this sl really needed, not sure what it adds since Honey has already left. I mean if she was still a character I would understand but to bring her back just for this.

Is that it?!

Well that's definitely worth cancelling my slap up trip to Bognor Regis for.

They really could have taken a much more grittier direction with Honey's return. If they did do a ED Donna it would have been a good storyline for Billy (and Billy hasn't had many gritty story lines of late). This sounds almost Lorraine Newman - a mother emigrating with her and the father's kids to the other side of the world (probably permanently) for child modelling without the father!? I mean, really?

I like the idea of Billy fighting to keep his kids. Such a shallow reason to take them away from their father....it's not as if Billy would ever have the money to visit them.

Maybe in a dramatic moment he attacks Honey with the stolen haddock?

I'm glad Honey isn't being killed off. I.e: Donna.

However, I am still rooting for a Billy/Honey reunion.

Billy is not only the runt of the Mitchells but the runt of the entire cast. He never gets given anything worthwhile to do. Fenwick impressed me when Lola came along but even that was taken away from him when Phil snatched the Lexi storyline out of Billy's hands. Billy hasn't had anything to do since. Billy is far from a favourite of mine but it's just wrong the way he's treated by the writers.

What a bizarre idea. Modelling work for William? Would he really have been scouted all the way over in Canada?

It also seems like it will be a few weeks of inconsequential actions on Billy's part and then the 'story' will be over.

I did think that Honey was either dying or emigrating. But this being the reason for the emigration is a little... strange. I'll see how this one plays out. At the moment it's all a little bit similar in tone to Alfie's Australian 'secret'.

he also may start throwing all that stolen mail that the writers have forgotten about at her!

Well it may not be very exciting.

But at least she isn't dying or being killed off

So do prefer that she's emigrating.

Well that's disappointing. But it isn't nearly as disappointing as finding out what Brenda's secret was.

I can see the reason is so that Billy gets to keep Janet for a while but it is a bit of a strange storyline with the modelling.

I guess its because they wanted Janet back but didn't have the current cast space for William so had to think up a plausible reason for her to stay but not him.

I prefer this to Honey emigrating for good. At least there is a chance she will be back later in the year. Maybe they will make her and William full time again then. The Spraggan's are leaving so there would be the room for all of them. Perhaps that's the plan.......

Doing it like Donna in emmerdale would have been ok in a couple of years but not while Emmerdale's storyline is ongoing. Anyway eastenders has had between 2-3 known character deaths this year with more proabally to come connected to Lucy's storyline so a happier storyline is better.
At least we see honey in the storyline rather than just hearing about it.
