nexus 7 Battery

my Nexus has decided that it doesn't want to charge the battery anymore anyone if its possible to repair this or not, its out of warranty

There are DIY guides to changing the battery on YouTube .It doesn't look too hard but I still wouldn't risk it . Sending it away for a replacement battery is almost not worth it .i'd be tempted to get a new one .

Are you sure it's the battery? The original Nexus 7 did have a problem that quite a few experienced where if you let it go flat it wouldn't come back to life again unless you held power & volume down for about half a minute. http://www.droid-life.com/2012/12/27...ry-this-trick/

Looks like the charging port is split took it local fixer

FYi - For future information on the side of the Nexus 7 there are 4 pogo pins for dock charging.

So if you cannot charge via the usb/charging port you still my be able to charge via a docking station.

Assuming it a problem with the usb/charging connector problem and not a battery fault.
