Dead Pixel :-(
Just noticed a tiny red dot on my Nexus 5 screen.
Absolutely gutted as it's been purchased from ebay and was a bargain brand new. Any way to fix it? |

There's a lot of alleged remedies but in my opinion it'll have to be a display replacement. But who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and it's only stuck instead of being a dead pixel.

I'll have to live with it otherwise. |

My first N5 had 4 stuck and dead pixels, they were that small i needed to hold the phone at an unusable distance to even see them.
At normal viewing distances i couldn't see them. |

I think it's stuck. If you turn the brightness up it goes.
I'll have to live with it otherwise. Go on YouTube and find a stuck pixel video. Leave it running over night and see if that fixes it. |
